Installing of the product could be much better. The delivers refused to connect the water dispenser, stating that's a plumber's job. They stated they are only allowed to connect the device into the wall. Despite the fact that there's a large disclaimer when you open the fridge that states "installer is responsible for properly connecting the house water supply to the unit." Very disappointing since many of the unsatisfactory reviews I had seen were based on issues with the ice dispenser. Unfortunately, I cannot even comment on that since I had to submit a repair request to get the water supply properly connected (3 days after delivery). As for the actual refrigerator, I have enjoyed setting it up and testing out the functionality of the various apps in the family hub. It's great that there's a bookmarks widget. It would be even better if some of those bookmarks that are known to have operational apps on androids/iphones could also be included for installing the apps in the family hub. I hope to update this review after a few days of use and once the water is connected and ice dispenser is functional.

Love the 4 doors, ice maker, music, pictures, and all the fancy options I can't find on any other model I've perused at the store or online. Certainly happy but my wife was impressed, you will not find a better refrigerator!!!

We have had this fridge for almost a month and so far this fridge is awesome! First we were sure about the white. Don’t think twice if the white works in your kitchen it’s beautiful. I’m glad we ditched the stainless steel the white is amazing. The family absolutely loves the beverage center. Cold water in a pitcher and being able to use the fill direct and not ugly dispenser and a clean look. The 2 different ice options is a plus and the ice is inside not out again a plus for us. The size is one of the main reasons we bought this fridge. I absolutely hated our French door fridge. You can’t fit anything in it. This fridge is huge and now we actually have space after shopping and I can see everything in the fridge and freezer. Best fridge imho. And the family hub we still need to learn but it is used by everyone from pictures to grocery list to the front door to music or news. Once we learn it I’m sure it will be used. My friends and family buy wolf and sub zero they are dummies. I can’t comment on the performance that is TBD but this fridge hand down was very thought out. Good job samsung

AI Family Hub™+ Color Customizable Door Panels* is beautiful feature with AI Vision Inside and Beverage Center to hv separate cold temperatures. Auto Open Door with Dual Auto Ice maker is a cool feature. Wife loves the Fingerprint Resistant Steel body. To give digital touch, this can be accessed through app SmartThing and can manage the temptation, view the content inside both door, auto fill pitcher options. In short whole family is loving this.

The model RF28R6301SR looked so great in the store, but it has irate design problems. One major issue is the quality of the plastic of the door shelves. Shelf after shelf broke into little pieces, and the contents crashed and spilled to the floor when the appliance was only a little over a year old. I was told I would have to purchase new, replacement shelves although this is clearly a manufacturer’s defect. . In all my years of purchasing refrigerators, I have had one shelf break. Additionally, there is insufficient room for all items, such as soda and juice bottles. Buyer beware!

We were a little afraid at first that this AI feature is going to be a gimmick, but it REALLY works! We always know what is in our fridge and when it expires, AND we have access to it wherever we are. So, I'd say we are now throwing away a LOT less food! Especially when the fridge reminds you that you have some milk that expires soon, or something like this! Design and the front screen are great! I love watching videos while cooking! Love that there are 2 types of ice, and a beverage center. Everything is very well thought out!

The Samsung 2024 Bespoke Refrigerator with AI Family Hub+ and AI Vision Inside (RF29DB9900QD) improves from last years model by adding one touch auto opening top doors for busy hands and AI vison to help keep track of what’s inside the refrigerator. The UV order control system uses UV LED light to kill and contaminates that add to odor and helps keep things fresh longer. The SmartThings app notifies you when the kids leave the door open and allows you to manage all the parameters form the app. I love listing to Spotify on the 32-inch display while I make dinner and keep the kids entertained. The 29 cubic foot volume is plenty for a growing family with room to spare. I really value the configuration options that Samsung provides for optimizing storage. The beverage zone makes easy work to get water with the auto filling pitcher and keeps the visuals clean by concealing it all behind a clean top door. The dual auto ice maker is my favorite feature as it provides two sizes of ice for your drinks and the included scoop is much enjoyed when making smoothies or adding to large containers. Great job Samsung.

I bought this fridge in December 2024 for our new home and we absolutely love it!! All the features are so cool, I can ask it questions like Siri, put my to do lists on there, play music or TV and I always know what’s in there/ when food is going to expire with the AI feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had big expectations for this Bespoke Refridgerator with Family Hub and AI technology. Great, but not perfect... yet. One main reason we chose the 4 door french option (I had the older model of this in my last house too and loved it) was the capability to choose the bottom section for more fridge space. This is perfect for a family with kids. We love setting that up just for them with their favorite snacks and drinks. This works for us because we have a separate garage freezer. The beverage door is great! Love having access to protein shakes or creamer for coffee without opening the entire door. The real winner is that auto-fill pitcher. To quickly fill large waterbottles is a time saver. We also chose the white glass option as I read it acts like a white board... so fun. Our kids loved drawing with dry erase markers on it. Even my husband and I played hangman. Just a cool alternative when the front is not magnetic. Also the hands free option is super helpful. This is where I knock off a star. I am very tech savvy especially when it comes to Samsung products. We have multiple devices throughout our home. This particular refrigerator with the integration of technology aka the Family Hub and AI and viewing inside feature is half of this product. Setting it up was totally fine. But it wasn't seamless. One major part was putting food inside the fridge. The camera scans what goes in and out and creates a small thumbnail for the item which is usually blurry, not clear, looks ehh and mostly not recognized so you have to edit each item. This is very time consuming. The cameras only face the doors, so when you close the doors and want to see inside, you only see (what I'm assuming most people put in the doors) condiments. You do not get to choose a live view of the main part of the fridge like the older model. This is a setback in my opinion. It should allow you to do both features, scan and whole upper fridge view. There weren't a lot of options for apps either. Even the Spotify app you still needed to be connected to your phone initially to launch the music. Pandora worked as expected. Watching Samsung TV was simple. Sound was good. One thing I did like was screen mirroring my phone for recipes to follow while cooking. You can create favorite website tabs to go to and we added our grocery store as one so we could add food to our list there. But I feel like it would make sooo much more sense if apps were integrated so you could be logged into your phone and see the same thing that your phone has. I would have like to see the Samsung Notes app in there for sure. To have checklists. Maybe a more customizable calender rather than a picture of the calender. The main reason for the smart screen was camera viewing. I know that the Ring has an app to view cameras, but we use another camera and have access to view it through the Smartthings App which is an option on the fridge. But it never worked and would not connect. I even froze all wifi connections except the fridge to our modem and it still would not stream video through SmartThings. I was hoping to see who was at the door or see kids playing in the backyard while I was in the kitchen, but this main feature never functioned properly for me. Overall, beautiful fridge. Just lacking in the technology side - still smarter fridge than anything else out there. But my expectations were not met with the Family Hub part and so we did return this for one without the screen. If you're not picky and willing to wait for updates to eventually maybe happen on that side, then get it. After exhausting all options on my end for fixing the video, the rest of the technology just wasn't personally meeting my expectations the way I had imagined. We love the non-screen option we have now.
