I ordered this a while ago and we finally got our first snow last night and today. About 6 inches of very wet and heavy snow. I was Leary that this would not handle snow this heavy but it plowed right through it. I bought this because I am 61 yrs old and have a bad back. This is an answer to my prayers!!!! You will not be disappointed.

Bought this to clear a path to my side door in garage, a path so we could have our fuel oil and propane delivered, and to clear out in front of garage car doors. Works great for this! Someone suggested a screen to protect you from the snow. That would be a good idea. Otherwise I am very happy with my snow joe!

I see the reviews where it can cause the snow to fly up and come back at you. I bet your taller. Your too 'open' Don't extend out so much. It causes the face to 'open' and basically throw it straight up. Keep the Joe closer to the hip, with the back 'power' hand held a little high and bend the knees a little. I use a scything technique and man this little guy really moves it out. Heavy 'heart attack' snow just needs to be worked in layers. and it can handle it. It's like a floor buffer - there is a 'technique' to make it effortless. Once you get it down you don't eat as much snow. I like it. It's way better then a shovel. Tough too - accidentally bounced mine off an iron railing, running, and there was no plastic flying. In fact. cleared the railing of snow!

This was a great little shovel for a few storms. On about the 4th storm, the shovel started to smell terrible (burning plastic) and smoking. I was very disappointed, as I used the shovel a few times prior, and just bought an additional battery, and of course it just destroyed itself. I will be getting ego brand next time, they have a much better product.

In two days it will be 3 months since I have had this shovel and I have not been able to use it even once. I wish I had returned it immediately when it did not work, rather than try to get it fixed. If they had replaced the entire unit including battery and charger, I would not be writing this. Instead, one piece at a time was replaced without success and now I am waiting for a battery which shows no sign of arriving anytime soon. I have never before had to endure a defective product and ridiculously slow support like this.

Works very well when needing to blow straight ahead. Battery adds alot of weight to the Snow Joe. I wish it came with wheels to make it more user friendly for the more mature users.

Bought this item a year or two ago and just used it for the first time this year. I fully charged it and used it. No problems easy to use for a woman, very light weight, and cleared my 80 ft driveway!! could not be happier!!!!

This is a great battery operated snow shovel! This powered through wet snow that bogged down my gas powered 28” dual stage Craftsman! Love this SnoJoe!

I am very impressed with my Snow Joe. No more achy back and now my other shovel is back in the basement. This is the one! The power from a battery snow blower is amazing. If the snow is deep go slow let the machine work for you!
