The Blooming set is beautiful. The tiles are easy to read and the mat and carrying case and bag are really nice! I was missing the red dragons (the tiles were blank) but as another reviewer suggested, I reached out to the seller customer service and they literally responded within minutes and are shipping me a set of red dragons. Their service was beyond excellent. I can’t wait to play with this set!

Absolutely love this set! It’s a great set for beginners. We have really enjoyed playing with it. When I received my set I realized I was missing a 5 dot tile so I emailed the company (JoyC) and they were super helpful. I received the missing tile within 5 days. Set is complete and I’m a happy customer. Great customer service!

This set is beautiful! I’m new to the game and have been wanting to a set but couldn’t justify the hefty price tag on other sets and the cheaper sets I’d heard were horrible. I received this one as a Christmas gift and couldn’t be happier with it! All of the pieces are of super high quality and everything you need is included (even the pushers…don’t throw those away!) I accidentally thew my pushers away so I reached out to the manufacturer and they sent me new ones. Amazing! Thank you Sam’s for a wonderful product, please keep more of these coming…I’d love to purchase new designs and sets in the future

I purchased this after doing a fair amount of research. I truly believe this is an exceptional product at such an amazing price point. The pros for me were that you have everything you need to play in one package. The tiles and mat are pretty so it didn’t feel like a compromise. I do wish the mat would have been rolled instead of folded to avoid the creases that do not seem to flatten out. This in turn makes it hard to use the pushers. I also wish the case was soft. It is cumbersome to have to nicely align the tiles so the case will close. I originally planned on buying my own racks with hinged pushers, but I think these racks with the pushers works perfectly fine on a smooth mat. I highly recommend and I am so happy with my purchase! Thank you for making this mahjong set and I cannot wait to see the special edition drop that was mentioned in the Mahjong %26 Mics podcast!

I miss the "treasure hunt" excitement of a thrilling find at Sam's Club...this set recreated that feeling! We needs more of that, Sam's buyers! I am a "new" player and wanted a second, more trendy set like the $500 ones sold online. This fit the bill .(I also have a traditional set that is very solid). I love the colors on this Blooming version but I am using my pushers from another set because these have some room for improvement. For the price, this is an outstanding deal if you are a beginner and want something attractive and fun. I have noticed that even the competitors popular expensive sets sold on line that are comparable to this have issues if you read the reviews, these have none of those serious issues like deglazing. This is a great investment.

I’m so glad I grabbed this. I’ve been wanting to learn Mahjong, and this set makes it so much easier. The tiles are decently hefty and the colors are super vibrant and easy to read. ​It comes with a sturdy case, so it’s perfect if you're traveling or want to store it with your other games. It looks really good quality. Definitely recommend if you want a pretty set that actually lasts.

We were initially excited when we opened up the set until we realized four of the dragon tiles were missing. It appears that they weren't printed in production. We returned the set and ordered a new one but the replacement set had the same issue. Vendor should do better QC.

Check your tiles! I caught a mistake checking them before opening, I got 5 - 5cracks and 3 - 3cracks...should've been 4 of each. Overall seems like a nice set tho and hopefully I can get a correct set and then I plan to keep. Took off stars due to tile mistake..

Was so excited to get this starter set but when arrived, four north winds were missing and instead I had two extra blanks and two extra jokers in it’s place. Please check all the tiles before you open up everything! It is a good starter kit but so disappointment in the missing tiles. Also tiles are a bit chunky but good for beginners.

This Mahjong set is gorgeous and really well made. The company JoyC Brands is also phenomenal. I was missing my red dragon tiles when I received the set. All I did was fill out their message page on their website and someone was in contact with me within an hour. It's been one day and I already have the tracking info for the dragon tiles that are being mailed to me. Overall, definitely worth the purchase!
