Pretty tiles color and characters love that it comes with everything as a beginner I’m very happy and would purchase this line again

as soon as I said to arrive to my house and I picked it up I knew this was the real deal. a high quality mahjong set. it was heavy and when I opened it up I was amazed about the quality of the set. All the pieces feel nice and crisp and smooth to my fingers as well as to have a nice weight to them so they don't fly off. and they give a very satisfying clack sound. and I'm very glad it came with a anti-slit mat. nothing slides when it's on it easily. and the mat itself stays were it's placed. I also love the bag. it's a nice high quality bag. that's great for travel. I'm honestly astounded that this set is worth its weight in gold.

Love the Blooming set! If you haven't used trays without connected pushers it's a little hard to get used to. These trays have a separate pusher piece that is not connected. The mat comes folded, the creases do not come out easy. (see photo) The creases make it hard to move pieces across the mat. I rolled mine around a thick wrapping paper tube for 1 week to try get the creases out. The mat will not fit in the bag unless it's folded. So mine sticks out one end since it's rolled. The pushers have a film on both sides that can be peeled off to make them clear just like the trays. If you don't peel them off they just remain cloudy (see photo). You are given two extra Jokers and six blanks in case you lose any pieces. The row of 19 tiles against the pusher at the beginning of the game hangs off both ends a little bit. You can see this in the video.

The pushers are hard to use but the tiles are beautiful.

This is a very nice mahjong set, with bright interesting colors and a bit more fun than traditional sets. The tiles are smaller but a nice quality with fun colors and orange backs. The problem for me are the racks. They are a rack with a separate pusher that doesn’t attach very cumbersome. I like the case, the tile case but the racks yikes and no case for them. The table pad is fine. It just seems a bit cheap to not include good racks, with pushers and a case for them.

Love the set. Seems high quality but the graphics are not very useful for American Mahjong. If the graphics being different doesn't bother you, then they are great.

I have been playing American Mahjong for several years. I was excited to play with this pretty (pink) set! The tiles are very pretty, my whole group agreed with that. And it was a good value for the money. But they are so thick! It was difficult to mix the tiles for play because they kept flipping over. They are almost as thick as they are wide! Photo shows comparison with “normal” tile thickness. The mat being suede did not allow for the tiles to slide around while being mixed up, contributing to their flipping over. The mat is pretty though. As far as the pushers go, they took some getting used to, but they were okay. The case for the tiles is quite nice. We are used to lining our tiles up to put them in a box, so that was not an issue. The carrying case for the whole set was nice. I ended up returning this set because of the tile thickness, the cracks were difficult to read, as were the winds. There needs to be more differentiation in those tiles.

I got the yellow tiles and the ones with the yellow writing for the numbers are hard to read when lighting is low. The numbers are also very small text. Great price for how much you get.

There is an extra west wind and only 3 north winds. (See picture). I’m so disappointed. Not paying $149 for an incomplete set. Yes there are blanks, but not buying a new set with a missing tile.
