Pretty tiles color and characters love that it comes with everything as a beginner I’m very happy and would purchase this line again

Absolutely love this set! It’s a great set for beginners. We have really enjoyed playing with it. When I received my set I realized I was missing a 5 dot tile so I emailed the company (JoyC) and they were super helpful. I received the missing tile within 5 days. Set is complete and I’m a happy customer. Great customer service!

This Mahjong set is gorgeous and really well made. The company JoyC Brands is also phenomenal. I was missing my red dragon tiles when I received the set. All I did was fill out their message page on their website and someone was in contact with me within an hour. It's been one day and I already have the tracking info for the dragon tiles that are being mailed to me. Overall, definitely worth the purchase!

I purchased this after doing a fair amount of research. I truly believe this is an exceptional product at such an amazing price point. The pros for me were that you have everything you need to play in one package. The tiles and mat are pretty so it didn’t feel like a compromise. I do wish the mat would have been rolled instead of folded to avoid the creases that do not seem to flatten out. This in turn makes it hard to use the pushers. I also wish the case was soft. It is cumbersome to have to nicely align the tiles so the case will close. I originally planned on buying my own racks with hinged pushers, but I think these racks with the pushers works perfectly fine on a smooth mat. I highly recommend and I am so happy with my purchase! Thank you for making this mahjong set and I cannot wait to see the special edition drop that was mentioned in the Mahjong %26 Mics podcast!

This is my first mahjong set, and I love that it includes beautiful tiles, a mat, the racks, the tile pushers, a tile bag, and a larger bag to carry the whole set. The box also has a QR code on the packaging that takes you to a website with short, straightforward videos that explain the basic rules of American mahjong, including the Charleston. The maker of this product is also super helpful if you have an issue. I played mahjong with the set a few times and noticed a hairline crack inside one of the acrylic tiles. Within just minutes of my emailing to ask about a replacement tile, the maker of the set had a new tile on its way to me and sent me a tracking number. Highly recommend this mahjong set!

This is a very nice mahjong set, with bright interesting colors and a bit more fun than traditional sets. The tiles are smaller but a nice quality with fun colors and orange backs. The problem for me are the racks. They are a rack with a separate pusher that doesn't attach very cumbersome. I like the case, the tile case but the racks yikes and no case for them. The table pad is fine. It just seems a bit cheap to not include good racks, with pushers and a case for them.

Love the set. Seems high quality but the graphics are not very useful for American Mahjong. If the graphics being different doesn't bother you, then they are great.

This is fine for a beginner set. However, I will say after playing with them weekly for four months: 1. The mat is suede-like and you can’t mix (wash) the tiles around without flipping them over. I had to buy a different mat made of neoprene. 2. People I’ve played with think the craks look like dots because the lanterns are round in shape. I wish they would have left off the lanterns and just used the plain characters, because all the craks look the same. 3. The pushers are crap and one tile too short. I’ll probably buy different magnetic ones. 4. The tiles are small but chunky. They fall off the racks easily and they fall over when pushing out the wall, etc. People are constantly knocking and flipping them over. When you build your wall, the height of the two tiles is significantly taller than the rack. 5. Font size of the numbers is small - a note for anyone with not-so-perfect eye sight. I have the bloom set, so at least my ink isn’t yellow. 6. They’re heavy, so I don’t even use the bag it came in. I use a backpack. 7. I wish the case the tiles came in was a bit bigger. You have to stack the tiles neatly for them to fit %26 zip. I don’t use that anymore either… I found a makeup bag that I we can quickly toss them in when finished. This set has such potential, but misses the mark on a lot of things. But it’s fine if you’re new to learning and don’t want to spend $500 on a set.

This seemd to be a good value, and really cute set. I am disappointed that the numbers and some other characters are rubbing off. Not sure if I would recommend, because they were still not cheap, even in this set!
