[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like about this product is that it's not a softener, so it doesn't leave your clothes feeling different; my towels still felt absorbent after using this. I poured directly into my machine while it was filling up for the rinse cycle, but you can add it to your fabric softener drawer in machine. No dyes to worry about staining your clothes either. The smell is really pleasant but not too much that it would be over-bearing.

He’s a big guy and sweats a lot, sometimes when he gets home, he forgets to empty his gym bag w/his is sweaty dirty gym clothes in it. Either way, they can be extremely rank smelling. The Downy Rinse and Refresh has been a lifesaver for me. His clothes come out of the washer with zero trace of odors, and feel pleasantly soft. I just add the Downy Rinse and Refresh in to the fabric softener slot on our washer, and his gym clothes come out odorless. I’m very happy with this product, the only thing that would make it better for me personally, is if it had a stronger scent. The Cool Cotton smells good, but is very very faint in my opinion. I personally like heavily scented products. Other that, needing a stronger scent, it worked great with eliminating orders from clothing and making them feel softer to the touch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Downey Rinse and Refresh Cool Cotton on my towels that had become hard from our hard water. They also had an "old" towel smell. The Rinse and Refresh eliminated the odor and made the towels softer. The scent is light and smells great. I'm definitely going to be using this with all my towels and other laundry!

I love that it softens & leaves everything in the wash smelling wonderful. It works wonders on my cycle clothes & bath towels.

My husband has sensitive skin so I'm limited on buying scented detergents and we don't like to use fabric softeners as they cause build up on clothes and in washer machine. This helps remove build up from detergent, makes my clothes smell good and my husband's skin tolerates it. Win win!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I have used this once in our dog beds and once in our sheets. I will say it does provide a deep cleaning. The dog beds smell great and look very clean. The sheets look brand new. I didn’t quite understand how much to use so I filled up to the “max” point both times and it was great. Overall good product I will continue to use.

I’m looking to have clean and soft clothes without the use of heavy perfumes and thick goopy fabric softener. I have finally found one that fits the bills! Smells clean without sickening perfumes. Makes my clothes soft. Very pleased!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Downy products and have used them for many years. I am not particularly fond of the Downy Rinse and Refresh fabric rinse. I haven't noticed any difference in my clothes and have used 1/2 of the bottle. The bottle is not a good design for my washing machine because of the way the dispensers are situated. I would prefer a bottle with a spout or one that squeezes out from the top of the lid. I will always try new Downy products and continue to use their fabric softener.
