After my clothes finished I took them out and boy to my surprise and nose, my clothes smelt amazing and clean. It seems to me that this rinse aid made my clothes feel soft. Not only did my clothes feel completely clean but I felt it protected my fabrics as well. Downy did a fantastic job with this rinse aid! I'm now on the hunt for more!! I dried my clothes and again, clothes still felt soft, smells clean, and I had minimal wrinkles!! Not only that but this made my clothes static free!! I'm totally in love with this Downy rinse! I felt no residue from this Downy like some competitive companies rinse agent. This is the best stuff! Would love to see a whole line of this product!! Highly recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This downy rinse and refresh is nice. I love the fresh scent. I prefer it to the fabric softener that gunks up your washing machine. It doesn’t tell you how much to add to each load, which I was surprised about. I just do a capful and seems to be enough. But again, there’s no clear instruction on how much to add. I also wish the bottle had like a spout top. Just less messy when pouring it. My clothes smell fresh when I put them on but I don’t notice it long after I put on the clothing.

It's easy to use and makes your clothes smell HEAVENLY! The Downy Rinse and Refresh is added to the fabric softener spot of your washing machine and is disbursed during the rinse cycle. My laundry has never smelled so good and felt so fresh/clean. My husband is super picky about how his laundry and he has asked that I never do laundry dry without the Rinse and Refresh. Overall, I would certainly recommend this product to whomever is doing laundry. It's seriously thee absolute best product! The best part - it's sage to use on all fabrics!

I use this Downy Rinse and Refresh Cool Cotton on all my clothes especially my towels it brings the odors from the soap residue that builds up over time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my house I have a hubby who is a fireman so always has dirty, smell work clothes! I also have 2 kids and 2 dogs. Smells can linger if you don't have fresh scents. I really do love the new Downy Rinse and Refresh product; it keeps my clothes smelling nice but not overpowering. The only downside to is the fact it doesn't tell you how much to use. I like having measurements and knowing its x amount per load. I don't like to eyeball my laundry products or to use however much I feel is needed. When doing that it's easy to overuse or even underuse but I do love this product other than that.

The cap was a little tricky at first, but once you get used to it and how it opens, it's golden. The most noticeable thing about this, besides being completely colorless, was the odor was minimal, so perfect for those who want a small scent, but not crazy overpowering.

This product is great for sports clothes or musty towels that were left in the washing machine for too long. It does not affect softness of the fabric; you would still use dryer sheets.
