There is a control panel on the right side behind the door. It controls the temperature for the fridge and the freezer. There is a WiFi app that you connect to called LG ThinQ app. This app shows the status of the refrigerator's network connection. It also alerts you when the filters need changing. There are 3 different ice function. The indoor ice is regular cubed and crushed ice that is dispensed outside the door along with filtered water. The craft ice is round slow melting ice used for hot summers and making cocktails. The ice plus produces ice at a much faster rate when you need lots of ice quickly like for ice chests or entertaining guests. There is plenty of space in the main part of the fridge, the doors, and the freezer. Plus many more superior and unique function like the snap into place shelving. This refrigerator is perfect for any household.

Their quality and features have improved immensely, even from one that was a dependable workhorse for almost 20 years that was still working like it was day 1. This new fridge really opens up the kitchen due to its reduced depth (counter). The lighting was the first thing I noticed - it was bright and allows you to see everything clearly. The sectional panels were easy to change heights and water filter was easy to install. Big plusses are the craft ice for my whisky drinks and easy to dispense water from the outside so I don't have to manually fill them now.

First of all, as our front door is smaller than regular size, we were having difficulties moving large appliances through the door. However, thanks to the small dimension in depth-wise, this refrigerator was able to move in without any dismantling or scratches (We had hard time with removing the original product.) Also, the best part of this refrigerator is that it fits perfectly within our kitchen space and doesn’t stick out awkwardly like the previous one while the shelves and drawers are very spacious. It looks great and makes the space feel more open with it decent look. Our previous refrigerator had freezer on the top and fridge below. Even if it had large space, we had to bend to reach inside of the fridge. However, having the frequently used fridge at the top provides us super easy access to the shelves. Lastly, this is my first time using a refrigerator with a built-in water purifier and ice maker. The height of the dispenser space is tall enough to use most of our tumblers easily. The ice-making noise is a bit noticeable, but it’s manageable. I highly recommend the product!

That was a side-by-side but the icemaker never worked properly since we purchased our house in the summer of 2020. Having this new, sleek, LG counter depth, French door refrigerator really perks up our kitchen. The dual icemaker is something I didn’t know I needed until I saw it in action. A must for me is to have the water and ice dispensers on the outside of the door as I am a frequent water drinker and I like the convenience. To my surprise, the other day I opened up the freezer and I saw the craft ice that I didn’t know this refrigerator was capable of making. It was so much fun using this ice. I know our guest will love it too. This is a sleek looking refrigerator. The doors open very wide for easy access to the various shelves and drawers. So far, I am finding this very roomie. It also seems roomy in the freezer as I took everything from my side-by-side freezer and put it in this freezer and everything fits really well. I have not downloaded the LGQ app yet, but that will be my next step as I understand that it will send me maintenance tips and alerts. This will be really handy as this refrigerator is in our second home and even though we are here frequently, I want to know what’s going on when I’m not here. So far I’m very pleased with this purchase and I am loving all the new things I’m learning about what I can do with this refrigerator and what I can do for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently added the LG Counter-Depth MAX with Zero Clearance™ 3-Door French Door Refrigerator to our laundry room, and it has exceeded our expectations. We have 4 kids who eat like a whole football team, so we need all the storage!! The zero clearance doors are perfect for the tight space, allowing full functionality. I really had struggled to find a refrigerator that could work there because of the hinges until finding this! Despite its counter-depth design, the 23.7 cu. ft. capacity offers plenty of extra storage for our needs. I also love the option for craft ice!! I hate using ice trays and had contemplated getting a countertop ice maker just for this kind of ice until finding this refrigerator! I couldn't be happier with this addition to our home. And absolutely love only having to go to the grocery every 1-2 weeks now!

All the room you are saving with their zero clearance door is also utilized on the interior with more room for your produce and foods. Fit perfectly where our old refrigerator was yet we have much more room on the inside. From the outside, it is beautiful with its sleek modern yet elegant in its appearance. Makes it super easy to clean, which is always a good thing for a neat freak like myself. The instructions for their additional functionalities like connecting water for its ice making capability was clear, concise, and easy to follow. Now instead of using space in our freeze portion for ice trays we have the ability to hold that many more ice cream. Going on a diet 1/1/25 bear with me. The freezer itself has been amazing since it is located on the bottom as oppose to the top like our previous model. This is especially awesome because now my grandfather can reach his night time snack, strawberry ice cream, that much easier. The easy gliding doors also bides well with my aging companion. Compared to our previous fridge which had the ice maker in the top back left of the fridge, the ice maker being on the door really makes this so much more spacious. The refrigerator feels deep and has plenty of room for all items. I like that the shelves are removable in case you do need to place taller items inside. The freezer is spacious and I like the two levels. The availability for craft ice, is so much fun and we are loving adding it to our drinks and love that it helps keep the drinks colder longer! All in all a great fridge, we are so happy we went with this model!

Purchased ~ a month ago - temperature control is great and love the in door ice maker and the freezer drawer craft ice balls. Would like there to be more options for setting the position of the shelves in the refrigerator. Need more flexibility for placement of taller bottles. Would also like to be able to slide the top drawer in the freezer out more - only slides out about 1/2 way.
