This review is for the assemble onlyIt took me about an hour to aassemble it wish they had clearer instructions like putting numbers or letters on what is what because I had to desamble it twice because some of the nuts weren't labeled what they were and where they go same with the other parts of the chair overall its good it was able to assemble it by myself.

Just bought the Lay-Z-Boy Active Lumbar, High Back Ergonomic Chair # 52069- BRN at Sam's Club, really great price! I had a pretty old desk chair and was having a lot of lower back issues and this chair has really provided the support I need to be at my desk all day every day. Also, this chair really takes my home office to the next level with the aesthetics of the chair. Just Love It! Fabulous find all around, thank you Lay-Z-Boy!

I ordered a beige chair from Sam's.com. The chair was delivered in excellent shape. On the outside of the box, it lists two colors, gray and beige. I opened the box and the chair was light gray, not even close to a beige color. I decided to keep the chair because light gray was ok with my decor. The chair itself is very plush, comfortable, and easy to assemble.

This chair is not high enough like other executive chairs, so you can rest your head as you would expect. Also, the seat portion does not extend under the thighs like other brands, and the "leather" is very slippery causing for a very uncomfortable session. It feels like i had to keep opposite pressure so I dont slip off which added strain. A chair like this should feel luxurious, and not make me feel like I have to keep balanced.

Chair assembled easily and is quite comfortable however the height adjustment doesn’t work. I called the 800 number and they said the piston is bad and they would send a replacement. So now I have to wait for it to arrive and repair a new chair. How can something like this get past quality control? Perhaps there is no quality control. I am also concerned about the bonded leather upholstery and how it will hold up. At least the price was reasonable.

Because it wasn't available to see at the store, I ordered this chair "on faith," trusting the name for quality. I am a woman in my mid-70s, and, following the clear instructions, was able to fully assemble it on my own. I've used it quite a lot for about a month now, and am completely satisfied with the purchase. The chair is sturdy and comfortable. And good looking, too. My gauge for rating a purchase is to ask whether, "knowing now what I didn't know then," would I buy it again. The answer in this case is a resounding, "Yes, with no hesitation."

I bought the chair for its comfort. The minute I sat down on it, I was sold. And l have not been disappointed. I have sat in a lot of different desk chairs in my life and this is the best one, by far. Thank you, La-Z-Boy for my comfortable desk chair.

Just finished assembling the chair. I would characterize the ease of assembly as moderate. The directions were clear, but some of the steps were difficult to manage because of the awkward position of the pieces. A second set of hands is helpful. Having said that, the chair itself seems sturdy, made of good materials. The cushioned seat is comfortably padded. Adjustments levers are easy to operate. Then lumbar supportis a nice feature and is built into the back rest. I expect this chair will give many years of good service.

After many years of using a basic office chair in my home office where I work from home, I finally decided to splurge on this chair. I don’t know why I waited so long trying to use the old chair, because it was the root of many of my back pain issues. What an upgrade! I love it. Beautiful and comfortable. Perfection.

We just purchased the La-Z-Boy in Gray Beige. It was a replacement from the previous Big %26 Tall version also purchased from Sam's 10 years ago. This chair is substantially smaller in seat depth and back seat height for my 6'4" husband. Really disappointing, and should not be advertised as a big and tall chair, it is not.
