At first I thought the heat was a gimmick but the heat is a game changer in getting up tough stains! I tested several stains with and without heat and adding heat just melted the stains away! I cleaned carpet, several different upholstery textures, and I was able to clean my stairs, too. This thing really works... the proof is in the dirty water bin that is so easy to dump and rinse when you're done. I love the compact size of the machine. It's easy to store, and made cleaning the stairs so quick! The long hose helped me get to hard to reach stains, too.

I was very impressed with the power of the machine, specifically the suction. Each pass of the vacuum I was able to pull up a lot of the water and the carpet felt barely damp once I was finished. The machine's heat feature was unfortunately not as impressive. In my opinion the water did not heat to a very high temperature. I felt it was easier to use hot water from the tap to fill the water tank. One positive is the ability to clean the machine afterwards, the directions are easy to follow and it's a quick clean up. While the heat feature wasn't impressive to me I was happy with the ability to clean stains from the carpet. I successfully removed slime off of the carpet using heat and also a coffee stain using the provided stain remover. If you have kids or pets this portable machine is very useful to clean up small messes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This portable cleaner is very light and portable which I really appreciate. Between my kids and pets, messes can happen anywhere in my house. I really like how long the cord is and I do wish that the hose holder was not under the cord wrap. The cord would get snagged on the hose holder when wrapping and unwrapping it. I wish the tanks were labeled for clean/dirty water but I do appreciate that the water and formula levels are clearly labeled on the clean water tank. The heat feature was perfect to get whatever had stained my carpet (between the kids and pets, who knows what it was). I used the bristle scrub brush and the stain disappeared. The machine was very easy to use and I appreciated the instructions in the manual. One of my favorite features is the self clean feature. After I finished treating the carpet I was able to have the tool and hose self clean. The tools were also very easy to take apart and rinse under the sink. That is: they make constant messes throughout our home, from pizza sauce to washable paint, mud to mashed bananas, and everything in between (did I mention we are potty training?) So I have a high bar for carpet and upholstery cleaners and have tried A LOT of brands and models. The Little Green ProHeat is truly the perfect pairing of cleaning power and portability. It's a great size that's not too heavy, even when completely full of water. The cord is long so you can get to the middle of the area rug in a biiig room (or to the backseat of your car). And it's got a self-cleaning mode that is *chef's kiss*. I tried the pet cleaning formula because of aforementioned potty training and it did the job perfectly. It's super easy to use and surprisingly powerful for its size. I used it on a pee spot on the couch, some strawberry stains on the rug, and a few other random spots. And it got everything out with no problem! The heat feature helped keep the water warm the whole time, which I think made a big difference. Everything cleaned up fast and with barely any effort. The cleaning liquid worked really well too no strong smell. Overall, I'm really impressed. It's a great cleaner and definitely made quick work of the messes in my house. It's especially effective on fresh spills and works well on both a couch and a high-traffic rug. The warm water feature helps break down stains, and the suction pulls up most of the moisture for a quick dry.

My newborn is a very spitty baby and although we don't have any pets the Little Green ProHeat Pet has been a super handy tool to help me clean several upholstered chairs that my baby has spit up on. The heat function has been incredibly helpful in deep cleaning the spots of spit up, and I use it every time to ensure that I'm preventing my furniture from smelling. My favorite thing about the Little Green ProHeat Pet is how small and portable it is....I can carry it around and use it while holding my baby!! I store it in the closet in my baby's nursery and can quickly grab it when I need to use it. I did not, however, use the cleaning solution it comes with, as I prefer to use all natural cleaning products on my upholstery. Thankful to be a part of the Stellar Product testing panel which gave me the opportunity to try this small but mighty cleaning machine out!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Little Green Proheat Pet Carpet Cleaner is the perfect tool for cleaning up small stains on carpet and furniture. It is so compact and lightweight that I am able to store it in the cabinet under the kitchen sink. The machine heats up the water, which makes removing tough stains so much easier. The suction is perfect. It removes the stain with minimal effort and doesn't leave the area soaking wet. The machine comes with a small bottle of cleaner that works great for Pet stains. It doesn't have a strong smell and doesn't leave the spot crunchy after it dries. Having 3 large dogs and foster puppies makes it tough to keep up on stains, especially in the spring, but not anymore! I've had it for a little while now, and it's definitely a mixed bag. On the positive side, the cord and hose length are great, giving me ample reach for cleaning without constantly needing to unplug or move around. The machine itself is light and easy to store, which is a huge plus for quick clean-ups of small messes-especially with kids and pets in the house. I really appreciate the self-cleaning feature for the hose. It's incredibly convenient, as I don't always have time to fully disassemble the machine to clean it after each use. Plus, the tank and machine are easy to clean, which is another time-saver. However, the "heat" feature leaves a lot to be desired. It's only slightly warm, which doesn't really feel like it provides any significant cleaning boost. The suction power is decent, but it could definitely use some improvement. I often find myself going over the same area multiple times to get it fully clean. If I don't move the nozzle very slowly, it's not as effective. As a busy parent, this isn't always the most time-efficient approach. Overall, it's a handy tool for smaller, quick messes, but if you're looking for something with stronger heat and suction, this might not be the best option.
