We've used it for everything from getting out lipstick stains from the carpet (thanks to our toddler) to removing the smell of cat urine from a beloved piece of furniture. I gave it four stars instead of five for two reasons: one, it is hard to store because there are so many small pieces and nowhere for them to go (It would be awesome if a device like this had some kind of bag or if all the little pieces connected to the device somehow so that they don't get lost); and two, it was hard to get the smells out. Sometimes we had to run it a few times. That said, it's pretty much ready to use from the time you take it out of the box. It's also pretty easy to clean - I just use some of the YouTube videos online to learn how to do this. Overall, this is a must have product for new parents of furry and human friends alike. It is very easy to use and the buttons and features are intuitive. The heat feature was a game changer - it helped me remove even chocolate from my area rug with ease. I was also able to clean up a pet mess very easily, neither of which left any residual staining. Using the heat feature was really effective and shortened the time I needed to use the Little Green and the effort was minimal. The self cleaning feature was also useful and I feel it's easy to keep it clean and dry for storage. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised at how much of an improvement this was to the more basic version I have tried in the past. I live with a cat, 2 dogs, three kids and a hamster. We deal with A LOT of messes. I was able to test this out on everything from muddy paw prints to cat throw up and I was really impressed by the cleaning power! My favorite thing about it is that it's so compact and easy to move around. I have a full size carpet cleaner but it's such a hassle to get it out and set up up for a small spill, and the little green proheat is so much more convenient. It packs a lot of power in a small package!

The suction is great, and the cleaning solution and the heated water seems to really help remove cat vomit and drink spill stains with less effort. I am concerned how long the hose will last- it already appears to have started breaking down where it attaches to the brush. Only time will tell. I loved the original version, but this sleek, updated model is a total game-changer! The new heating feature is nothing short of amazing-it tackles even the toughest stains that I thought were impossible to remove. I was blown away by how effortlessly it gets out stains now! As a busy Mom I'm not going to lie there have been more than a few times where I didn't even attempt to tackle the spill on the carpet or the chocolate on the couch until the weekend cleaning. But with this handy little cleaner I actually was able to pull it out and get rid of the mess right away. I put this through the paces over the past few weeks taking care of carpet, furniture, high chair and car seat messes quickly. This cleaner actually has a heat mode which I haven't seen in a handheld before and was effective at removing sticky gunk from the high chair. There were different easy snap-on attachment heads like traditional bristles for scrubbing carpet and a rubber version for cleaning other surfaces. The other thing I really liked was how easy it was to fill and clean after using it. It's as simple at taking out the tank washing and putting back on. The head itself has a self cleaning spray trigger so all the gross stuff gets cleared out with ease. I would definitely recommend this and have used it at least 3 times a week since I received it. The Little Green Proheat Pet Portable Cleaner is an absolute gem tackling carpet, upholstery, and fabrics with ease! The device is ready to go out of the box, requiring only the nozzle attachment to be clicked into place. Set up is a cinch with easy to read marks indicating how full to fill the water tank and cleaning solution. From there it's just plug and play. I used the device to clean some incredibly dirty coffee table stools that my 5 year old has used as a napkin for the last 3 years. I sprayed the solution and then turned on the heat feature which takes 30 seconds to heat up. I then used firm pulling strokes towards me to suction up the solution and grime. A few heavily stained areas took an additional pass or two but otherwise the device did an excellent job of pulling up caked in dirt and grime. I was thrilled by the before and after results and very pleased with the drying time it took for the chairs to fully dry. My only very minor complaint was the location of the spray button, it's right on the handle and easy to accidentally press but this was a minor issue. Outside of this I have nothing but praise for this device. It makes very easy and quick work of cleaning up stains and messes and isn't huge and bulky which is a big win in my book!

I really like how long the cord is and I do wish that the hose holder was not under the cord wrap. The cord would get snagged on the hose holder when wrapping and unwrapping it. I wish the tanks were labeled for clean/dirty water but I do appreciate that the water and formula levels are clearly labeled on the clean water tank. The heat feature was perfect to get whatever had stained my carpet (between the kids and pets, who knows what it was). I used the bristle scrub brush and the stain disappeared. The machine was very easy to use and I appreciated the instructions in the manual. One of my favorite features is the self clean feature. After I finished treating the carpet I was able to have the tool and hose self clean. The tools were also very easy to take apart and rinse under the sink. It's super portable and lightweight, which makes it easy to move around and clean multiple areas at once. It heats up really well and quickly. The heat definitely helps provide a better clean.
