The Little Green ProHeat Pet carpet cleaner is a compact and efficient tool designed for tackling pet messes. Its standout feature is that it heats water to enhance cleaning performance. This makes it particularly effective for stubborn stains and odors, such as pet accidents or spills. I used it to clean up cat hairball messes on the couch and carpet. In both instances, it did a great job of lifting the stains right up. My only two drawbacks are that the solution is very heavily scented, where I'd prefer something with not so much smell. We decreased the amount added vs. recommendation to lessen the smell. In addition, it's not really big enough to do a FULL carpet, unless you've got days to clean. Overall though, it's great for the small area stains, however difficult to clean.

I have used different portable cleaners to clean up doggy piddles, kid messes and other inconvenient messes. I have to say this is by far my favorite. It is so much easier to fill a tank and have a separate dumping tank that is removable. I love the long cord, I am able to set the tank in convenient places. I love the long hose which letup mls me set the tank on the floor and I'm able to clean multiple areas without having to move it. The hot water option is great because we all know when it comes to a deep down dirty mess hot water is what's going to help work it out. Cleaning attachment itself has two different scrubbers which are easily removed and replaced. I first start with the silicone rubber Nubs to remove any pet hair and ground in debris. After that I pull it off and put in the bristle brushes and scrub away the easy slide self-cleaning method cleans your attachment head. Great option in my opinion! The dirty water tank is by far one of the best I have encountered. It is easy to open and clean the whole area leaving it fresh smelling for your next cleaning. With both kids and pets in the house, messes are constant-but this machine has made cleanup so much easier. It's lightweight, portable, and incredibly easy to use. This is my second of these machines and I'm so happy to upgrade mine to this newest one with heat. I have a new puppy who unfortunately has accidents pretty frequently still. This machine with the included formula has been able to get out all of the smell on carpet which other products have failed to do. Additionally the heat has worked wonders on my 5 year old couch that is marked with years of spills and grimy marks from little fingers. I'm truly shocked at what this can do and I can't recommend it enough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Little Green ProHeat Pet is super pleasing to the eye with its clean design and smooth aesthetic. Something I don't mind having sitting out in my home. We have a senior small dog with incontinence issues and are cleaning up small urine spots a few times a week. I always use hot water in my carpet cleaners and this machine having a heat function means I can fill it and have it ready when needed just by turning on the heating element. No fussing with the tanks or detergents! Using the heat function I was able to remove old stains that previous machines couldn't tackle. The other awesome feature is the nozzle rinse. In a multi-pet household the nozzle tends to get dirt and hair trapped even though the spot was vacuumed prior to shampooing. Being able to rinse the nozzle helps me feel like I'm keeping the machine clean, and removing any lingering dirty bits that might cause the lines to get smelly. The machine is extremely user friendly, with both clean and dirty tanks being removed with ease. I LOVE that the entire top comes off of the dirty tank so that you can really clean it well. The formula included with the machine had a nice smell and seemed to do a great job with helping to lift dirt and stains from my carpets. We received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it is amazing. It's very easy to use and does a great job cleaning our couch, spots on our rugs, etc. Even if you just use water, the heat function allows it to clean well with no soap. The best part is how easy it is to clean and put away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this portable carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have used many Bissell products including other Bissell portable cleaners. This version now heats the water directly in the machine in 30 seconds compared to previous versions that require you to put in hot water (which the machine keeps hot). This is much more convenient and saves a step. It worked great on my cat's hairball mess on my velvet couch and didn't leave water stains. It heated up quick, I sprayed some Bissell solution, and used the brush to get off the mess, and it then sucked up everything quickly and easily. The mahcine itself is also easy to clean up. Sometimes with these types of machines, cleaning the machine itself is more of a chore than cleaning the mess itself. There aren't a million parts and it is easy to take apart and wash. It is light and portable at less than 10 pounds. I do appreciate the steam function on the Bissell Little Green Hydrosteam Pet, but that is a heavier machine (13 pounds). Overall, I think this is a great portable machine for small messes. A win for me with kids and pets!

I personally love the size of it; it's very small, great for smaller places. It's not heavy; it's very lightweight. I appreciate that you can turn the heat on or off, so you don't always have to use it. It heats up extremely quickly-think about 30 seconds-and the light turned on and was ready. It sprayed very nicely and evenly, and it also sucked up a lot quickly without having to press really hard.

I have an older model of the Bissell carpet cleaner, but this one is so sleek looking, easy to carry, and the electric cord and hose are longer in the newer version. The heat feature cut the cleaning time in half, and seemed to get out stains better than when no heat is used. Simple features -- only two buttons, so it's impossible not to get it right. I used it to clean up dog vomit (eww), wine, coffee. All worked great. The formula had a decent scent and worked well. My favorite thing, though, is the brush/handle that has removable parts. Finally! You can clean it out, so anything that gets sucked up in the brush and stuck in the bristles can be washed really well. Also, the new brush is silicone, so it's easy to clean. Like new, every time! Nothing bad to say about this machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Little Green Proheat Pet is just what I needed to win the everyday battles against stains. I already had a carpet cleaner and I thought they were all mediocre, but my old one didn't have heat. I received this new one as part of a Stellar Product Testing Panel, and now I don't want to give it back. This machine is compact, but has a long hose and nice length power cord to clean up a whole area of muddy dog footprints without having to find another plug. My home has white carpets. That is a huge mistake when you have pets and toddlers, but it is what it is. This machine has helped keep my sanity as I not only can keep new spots cleaned up, but some of the older spots that my previous machine left behind were completely removed by this machine. I can only imagine that the heated solution makes that big difference. The only issue I had with this machine, and the reason it lost a star, was sudsing in the dirty water tank. Some of my messes frothed up pretty good in the tank, and then the machine ended up blowing dirty foam out of the exhaust. Once I figured out this was happening I learned to empty the machine more frequently during big cleanups. Overall, even with the sudsing issue I experienced, I would still recommend this machine to anyone with a lot of messes to take care of.
