[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Bissell spot cleaner that was about 15 years old, and it was definitely time for it to be replaced. This new ProHeat Pet cleaner has been such a nice upgrade! It's lightweight, more compact, and quieter. Both the clean and dirty water tanks are very large, which allows for longer cleaning time without interruptions for refills (a pet peeve about my old one!). It does a great job of cleaning most spots, although some stains definitely need a pre-treatment if they are really set-in. I use this most often for pet messes, and it works great for that. The heat feature is handy for keeping your hot water hot while cleaning bigger areas. The suction is excellent and seems to pull almost all of the water out with only a couple passes. I'm so glad they added a self-clean feature to this as well, which makes the clean-up of the machine so much easier than on my old model. I also really appreciate that the cleaning head comes apart on this one so you can clean it thoroughly when done. My only complaint with this machine is the black hose! My older model had a clear hose, so you could see if there was still gunk that needed cleared out. Since you can't see through this one, there's no way of knowing if the hose is still dirty, has a blockage, or is becoming moldy. Otherwise, I love everything else about this machine and I'm so happy I was able to upgrade! I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Having kids and pets, it's essential I find a product that works! This machine didn't disappoint. It removed tough crayon marks on fabric, faded old stains, and quickly removed new messes. I especially liked the portability of the machine and the ease of use. I have the product 4 stars as opposed to 5 though because for some stains I had to go over a few times to remove.

It is very easy to use and the buttons and features are intuitive. The heat feature was a game changer - it helped me remove even chocolate from my area rug with ease. I was also able to clean up a pet mess very easily, neither of which left any residual staining. Using the heat feature was really effective and shortened the time I needed to use the Little Green and the effort was minimal. The self cleaning feature was also useful and I feel it's easy to keep it clean and dry for storage. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised at how much of an improvement this was to the more basic version I have tried in the past. I have a senior cat who tends to leave messes around the house and this cleaned them with so little effort on my part. I think the heat makes the biggest difference because the stains start to come up as soon as I spray them. I have not used the actual solution in the past, but I do think it made a big difference this time. This model is also really easy to clean when I'm done, so I'm much more likely to use it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Little Green Proheat Pet Carpet Cleaner is the perfect tool for cleaning up small stains on carpet and furniture. It is so compact and lightweight that I am able to store it in the cabinet under the kitchen sink. The machine heats up the water, which makes removing tough stains so much easier. The suction is perfect. It removes the stain with minimal effort and doesn't leave the area soaking wet. The machine comes with a small bottle of cleaner that works great for Pet stains. It doesn't have a strong smell and doesn't leave the spot crunchy after it dries. Having 3 large dogs and foster puppies makes it tough to keep up on stains, especially in the spring, but not anymore! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Little Green Proheat Pet is just what I needed to win the everyday battles against stains. I already had a carpet cleaner and I thought they were all mediocre, but my old one didn't have heat. I received this new one as part of a Stellar Product Testing Panel, and now I don't want to give it back. This machine is compact, but has a long hose and nice length power cord to clean up a whole area of muddy dog footprints without having to find another plug. My home has white carpets. That is a huge mistake when you have pets and toddlers, but it is what it is. This machine has helped keep my sanity as I not only can keep new spots cleaned up, but some of the older spots that my previous machine left behind were completely removed by this machine. I can only imagine that the heated solution makes that big difference. The only issue I had with this machine, and the reason it lost a star, was sudsing in the dirty water tank. Some of my messes frothed up pretty good in the tank, and then the machine ended up blowing dirty foam out of the exhaust. Once I figured out this was happening I learned to empty the machine more frequently during big cleanups. Overall, even with the sudsing issue I experienced, I would still recommend this machine to anyone with a lot of messes to take care of.

As a mom of 2 as well as a pet parent I am cleaning my carpets and furniture pretty regularly. Since trying this machine I definitely notice a decrease in how often I have to go over the whole house because of how quick and simple it is to get it going. It's compact design and light weight make it easy to get into places I'd otherwise have difficulty and it's heat feature makes getting out those messes I may have missed a breeze. Overall I'd highly recommend this product especially to anyone with carpeted stairs to clean

I have two toddlers and an Australian Shepard that sheds more than you can imagine, so stains are the norm at our house. My first impression was how small the footprint of this was (see photo below for size reference). It's also very light which makes transporting up and down stairs much easier than other spot treaters I've tried in the past. Despite my skepticism, the heat feature was able to remove an old coffee stain that I had given up hope on. I definitely think it makes the cleaner more effective. You probably don't need it for every stain, but it absolutely helps! My only negative thought is the loud noise the machine makes when in use, but it's not necessarily any louder than our previous cleaner. Overall, would recommend based on size, portability, and heat feature.

Something I don't mind having sitting out in my home. We have a senior small dog with incontinence issues and are cleaning up small urine spots a few times a week. I always use hot water in my carpet cleaners and this machine having a heat function means I can fill it and have it ready when needed just by turning on the heating element. No fussing with the tanks or detergents! Using the heat function I was able to remove old stains that previous machines couldn't tackle. The other awesome feature is the nozzle rinse. In a multi-pet household the nozzle tends to get dirt and hair trapped even though the spot was vacuumed prior to shampooing. Being able to rinse the nozzle helps me feel like I'm keeping the machine clean, and removing any lingering dirty bits that might cause the lines to get smelly. The machine is extremely user friendly, with both clean and dirty tanks being removed with ease. I LOVE that the entire top comes off of the dirty tank so that you can really clean it well. The formula included with the machine had a nice smell and seemed to do a great job with helping to lift dirt and stains from my carpets.
