I purchased this backpack for my kindergartener so she wouldn't have to keep track of a lunchbox plus her bookbak. The big issue I have with this backpack is that the interior compartment is too short to hold a regular size school folder! That's a big miss.

A perfect, durable “lunch box” for my toddler. It makes it so easy to pack a healthy snack while we are out all morning or afternoon. Food stays cold for hours. I especially love the removable compartments to change the sizes of the boxes depending on what snacks we pack that day. I love the hard shell to throw in the car, bottom of the stroller, or even a backpack. It’s thin enough to fit easily anywhere along all the other stuff that comes with kids. Highly recommend purchasing a few of these!

This lunch box is wonderful! There is just enough space for her to have what she wants to take for lunch. I was worried the compartments where to small but they aren’t. The ice pack stays cold for long and haven’t had issues with that. The only issue I have and the only reason I can’t give the five stars is because of the leakage problem. It does not leak out side of the box but if there is liquid in one of the compartments it’s going into the other. I don’t put it in a dishwasher (I don’t have one) it is all hand washed and surprisingly has not yet been dropped. All together I am very happy with this for my kindergartener

My son has had this box for a week now and I will say when I pick him up from school inside of his insulated lunch box and not his book bag, it does stay cold. But I downside is that it is much larger and heavier than expected and when the container is closed without the ice pack it is VERY HARD to open and I have to use a fork or knife to pry it open, but with the ice tray opens with no issue. It is also hard to pull the ice tray out at the end of the day.

This backpack has worked well as a diaper bag for my one year old! She needs a packed lunch for daycare, and her bentgo box fits perfectly in the bottom- with an ice pack! Her teachers always know where to find her things. I can keep her organized, so they aren’t fishing around her bag for her lunchbox. It also leaves plenty of room for bottles and changes of clothes in the top portion. I’m confident this bag will last her I still preschool!

It’s difficult to get the tray in and out to put the ice pack in. Which is a slight inconvenience and may get easier with time. The bigger issue is it’s pretty difficult to open and close for my 3 year old. Which leads to spilled and mixed food, defeating the purpose of buying a leak proof option, my 5 year old is capable of closing properly- so definitely possible just difficult for small hands

Love the print and the idea of the lunchbox on the bottom. I do wish the box part was removable, but knew that it wasn’t before hand so no big deal. The backpack, however, is very small inside and needs to be a couple of inches taller. Right now we have to bend my kiddos take home folder to fit inside and if she wanted to put a sweatshirt or jacket in there it would be full.

The problem I had with the regular bentgo is not feeling like ice packs keep the food cold through the thick plastic, so this is the perfect solution. Have used a few times and the kids love them. More space in the compartments than the regular bentgo as well. My only issue is orange things seem to stain the grey area. Once it was carrots and then it was cheddar cheese the next. I assume it’s just a cosmetic issue, but for the price, I would hope they would stay looking nice as well.

I’ve been using bentgo for my daughters lunches for 3 years now. I love the that I don’t have to send her lunch in multiple containers or plastic baggies! I Just purchased this two pack. I love the built in ice pack, it keeps everything nice and chill which is especially great on those hot days.

The backpack has many pockets and well functioning zippers. Made of good durable quality with good enforcement stitching. Love that also has the insulated pocket for matching bentgo box! The print is also vibrant and colorful. I believe it would last for many years. We love it!!
