The lunchbox does a good job of chilling, according to my little, but his lunch bag has been a mess when he gets home. If he does not finish his food (yogurt, applesauce, hummus, dipping sauces etc) it leaks out of the compartment(s). The foods mix inside of the compartments as well (ie yogurt mixes into the ketchup). It’s also pretty heavy compared to other lunchboxes.

I think the backpack itself is really good quality. Paired with a bentgo lunchbox where the whole lunch is contained in the box it’s great. The challenge is if there’s anything for lunch that’s not contained in a single lunchbox… since then kids have to take a lot to the lunch room.

So handy for trips to the park and restaurant visits for my little guy. We even used it to feed my 11 month old lunch on the airplane. My guy loves having choices with the different compartments and I like the detachable ice pack. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to make their lives easier with a little one on the go.

Really well made and appreciate all the pockets. Wish the bottom cooler portion fit the matching lunch box, not just the bentogo bento box alone, but the backpack is roomy enough that my daughter can fit the matching insulated lunch box into the large pocket of the backpack and uses the bottom insulated pocket for her snack. We really like this backpack!

The one we got is too small. The compartments are tiny and better suited to a toddler than a 5-year-old or school-age kid. I love the functionality and the look of this and am really disappointed that we can only use it for snacks. We will be looking for something bigger and trying to find a thermos as well.

I really love this book bag for my daughter! She picked out the print and absolutely loves it. I find the attached lunchbox on the bottom so convenient so she doesn’t forget her lunchbox at school! I also really like the adjustable cup slot on the side so you can have different sized cups. The only thing that I’m upset with is that I didn’t get one for my other 3 kids.

My son has had a smaller bentgo box for the past 3-4 years, but he's going to Jr high so I knew he was going to need a bigger lunch box! I was looking at the other larger capacity options, but went with the Go Max specifically because of the ice tray that it has. I would like the option to buy an extra ice tray for those days my son forgets to take care of it the night before, but the only extras available are for the smaller boxes. SN: this box is quite heavy when just the ice tray is in it, but it still fits in my sons lunch bag so it'll be fine.

Good product overall. I'm used to more technical gear, which can maintain temperature for extended/predictable amounts of time. However, this does a good enough job for school lunches. The latch can be a little difficult to open/close, even for the adults in the house.

The compartments on this box are the perfect size to pack a toddler or a young child’s lunch or assortment of snacks when going out. That said, it is not the easiest kind of case to close. My son would certainly not be able to do it himself. Also, I think that the cooling layer causes some moisture and extra wetness to the food inside the case that is not entirely desirable.

This is the best lunch box ever, previously we used the same but bigger for 2 school years. The quality is top! My son loves it. We live in California and it's too hot sometimes for carrying sandwiches without ice pack. With this box my son has a healthy and fresh lunch every day. I also paid it with the snacks box. They both perfectly fit a bentgo lunch bag!
