These tests are ok. Not the best because they are unfortunately red dye tests which are less reliable. The lines are also super thin so it is really hard to tell if there is a second line if it is faint. I would buy these again because I believe that they are a little cheaper but I would prefer a different brand.

My husband and I bought the box that has a line and digital reader and they were both faulty!! I used the line one with my FMU, came back to check no control line. So took the digital test and followed the instructions and again a blank screen. Came back and it had all the screen full and then just a still clock. I'm so disappointed!

I have always loved and heard good things about FRER.........until recently. Too many people have gotten false positives on these tests lately...INCLUDING MYSELF. which is a huge bummer when you're actually trying to get pregnant (and have been trying for a while like I have). I would still recommend but am super skeptical!

A bit of a background to my review. I had a period which was not the normal for me, it never lasts only 3 days and remain super light! So I bought a box of FRER. I watched that second line come up in the 3 min time frame window. Scared because I was at the time 8 months PP, and ecstatic because another baby! Well I tested for the following 8 days to see a line progression. The only darker line I got was on 10/17/21. That was the darkest line I had gotten. I continued to test because the digital pregnancy tests I had taken were coming back negative. So I thought maybe I wasn't producing enough HCG, and then because the lines started becoming inconsistent I thought maybe I was having a chemical pregnancy but didn't bleed. I spent an entire month confused as to what could have possibly been going on. I spent so much money buying these tests because I had 8 consecutive days of positive tests. First Response you have got to do something about these indent lines or whatever is going on with your tests because one moment I was under the impression I was pregnant and the next I thought something else was going on. I've had 2 beautiful girls, 2 and a half and 9 months old. I never had this issue before! I've trusted FRER so much because when it was negative, it was negative for sure and when it was positive, it was positive! I'm extremely disappointed that this actually is a thing with these sticks! I know I'm not pregnant because it is literally a month later and I'm on my period. I dont know what's going on, but whatever it is I hope you fix this issue. I would ask for my money back but I don't even think yall would that. Any ladies out there, please approach taking these tests with caution and do it the day of your expected period for the most accurate results. I'm very weary of these now.

I was SO excited to see the 2 pink lines!! I woke up that morning and it was so easy to use! Mess free compared to other tests if you know what I mean I love that it came with a cap so I wasnt flinging pee on my husband as I excitedly ran into the bedroom to wake him up

Helps me feel reassured when Im worried I may be pregnant. I like that it's early result so I can take it and get my results sooner than later. Typically I buy multi-packs so it saves me a trip to the store during my next pregnancy scare. Easy to read results and use!

Two different tests (early result and rapid result) by first response both gave me very clear positive pregnancy tests - one day after the other. I was about a week late on getting my cycle at the time so I was not surprised and made a doctors appointment right away. The next day I started bleeding and was in tears thinking I was having a miscarriage. I happened to be using an app that had first response tests advertised and ended up clicking on it, reading reviews, and was absolutely blown away by reading how many women have had false positives from these tests!! Something isn't right here! Not sure if they are producing faulty tests or what but it puts people through an emotional roller coaster!

I usually only get FRER because this was the only brand I trusted.. NOT ANYMORE! Since miscarrying with my daughter at 4 months, my fiancé and I have been hopelessly ttc again. On TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS I have gotten false positives BACK TO BACK ! This month, I bought 3 boxes with 3 tests and 5 were vfl! This is indeed WRONG! Two months ago, I got 3 vfl and got my period THE SAME DAY! This is heartbreaking! Take the product off the shelf! It's giving women false hope when all we want to do is have a baby! I will NEVER buy first response again as this company can not be trusted and they are not even fixing the problem.

I bought a 3 pack and took one yesterday and I thought it was a faint positive. So I opened it up. Indent line! Thought it was a dud. Took another one this morning and indent line showed up immediately. So I opened up the 3rd one before using it and could clearly see an indent line. What a waste of money. Will not purchase ever again!

I have used these many times before and never had any issues, however the last two test and confirm kits I purchased, the digital one never worked. The clock never appeared. After waiting a while I tried to use them anyways thinking maybe they would work, and nothing. These tests are not cheap and I'm pretty uspet that I got two non working ones from two different stores in two different packs. Used to be the best brand around but I will not purchase again. Now I have to go spend more money on more tests from a different company.
