I usually only get FRER because this was the only brand I trusted.. NOT ANYMORE! Since miscarrying with my daughter at 4 months, my fiancé and I have been hopelessly ttc again. On TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS I have gotten false positives BACK TO BACK ! This month, I bought 3 boxes with 3 tests and 5 were vfl! This is indeed WRONG! Two months ago, I got 3 vfl and got my period THE SAME DAY! This is heartbreaking! Take the product off the shelf! It's giving women false hope when all we want to do is have a baby! I will NEVER buy first response again as this company can not be trusted and they are not even fixing the problem.

I took this test and got a positive result, went in for a blood draw an hour after I took this test. Not an evap line because the pink line showed up right away. Guess what? My HCG was at a 2. So no way it was a chemical pregnancy or miscarriage. Seriously, take these off the market. Luckily I wasn't trying to conceive but I can't imagine the heartache this test causes women that are trying to conceive.

My partner and I have been trying to conceive for Quite a while now. For the last two months I have been getting positive results from your pregnancy tests and have even took the test with me to the hospital on two occasions for blood work just to find out that your test is faulty and that I am not even pregnant. Not even a chemical, no sign of ANY hcg in my blood. You have no idea how much emotional distress you have caused me and I require my money back for these useless products

Every pregnancy app and group that I'm in agrees. FRER famous for giving “false positives” because of the indent line giving a fairy faint “positive” affect. I got one on 6DPO and with high hopes, I kept taking them and I still am getting the SAME line (no darker) at 20DPO AND now I stared AF. If you take it out of the test and turn it over you can see that's it's only an indent. Must just want us to spend more money hoping the line will get darker and we thinking we can only possibly see an early line on the “best test ever”. I will not use these tests next cycle or ever again.

I used you guys with my first two babies never had this problem until trying for my 3rd baby. I bought test after test I always got negative but my problem is on some of the Test I've bought they already had some kind of white line over where the testing line is for (positive) gave me false hope thinking maybe this was it and it'll get darker if I buy more test and wait but it didn't. I really love this brand but I'd appreciate it if this can be fixed for us momma's who have a hard time trying to conceive. Thank You!

I was SO excited to see the 2 pink lines!! I woke up that morning and it was so easy to use! Mess free compared to other tests if you know what I mean I love that it came with a cap so I wasnt flinging pee on my husband as I excitedly ran into the bedroom to wake him up

I always have heard great things about first response so that is what I bought when I thought I might be pregnant. Sure enough, my first response (and several other brands just to make sure lol) It is a little expensive however the name they have built for themselves makes it worth it!

This is the 3rd time I used this product. The box comes with 2. The first time I got a false positive, tested again negative and went to the doctor. Negative. The 2nd time, the digital test never displayed anything. The 3rd time, the digital display showed a clock which means the test is ready but no answer appeared. These tests aren't cheap.

Sometimes due to my birth control I miss my periods, so I normally keep a few tests around just to make sure that Im only late because of that. First Response has always been reliable for me, so I plan on continuing to buy them whenever I need to double check!

I bought a few first response tests that all showed a really faint line leading me to believe I was pregnant. Got so excited and my hopes up so high just to realize when my period came that they weren't actual lines due to pregnancy. Will never buy again.
