I had SEVEN pink, double lined tests. This would have been my fourth baby, so I’m not new to pregnancy tests. I immediately headed to my doctor to get a blood draw and begin the process of welcoming a new little BUT…I’m not pregnant. No HCG whatsoever. Needless to say, I’m very annoyed to have been stressed, excited and to have wasted all this money on literal trash that caused sadness and disappointment. I literally only used First Response to test for my most recent baby (that was born 7weeks ago!) and they were great then. My ‘positives’ looked exactly like the tests I got for my baby. I’m not sure what has happened to the quality of these tests but needless to say, I’m not happy this happened. I don’t believe all of us have had chemical pregnancies or misread these tests. I literally had NO HCG, and a strong pink line. These should all be recalled until the problem is corrected. So bummed to not be able to trust these again.

I took one test and got a faint 2nd line. The next day, I took another and got another faint, but darker than the day before, 2nd line. After taking other tests and receiving multiple negatives, I researched and found out these have been giving multiple people false positives. This can be heartbreaking for people TTC.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These tests work very well and I like the curved handle. It makes it easier to hold while taking the test. Very accurate and you ca take these tests earlier than most to get the results you are waiting for.

I used first response for my first two pregnancies and they worked great. However I have been testing lightly positive for the past two weeks on First Response, and only on first response (I tried 3 other brands) I checked exactly at the 3 minute mark and tried 8 times in the last two weeks. Every time, light positive (clearly containing pink, not an evap line). I went to the doctor to see what was going on. Blood test was negative.

This was always my go to test, however, I have purchased 5 boxes in the last 2 weeks where all of my tests showed a light postive line. -- from a woman that had multiple miscarriages, this is heart breaking. I am never purchasing this brand again.

I tested with 4 of these test and I got 4 false positives, I tested today with another brand and all I got was negatives. This is very stressful and makes you lose a lot of hope when you give false results... You guys need to get it together especially when your test are super expensive!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this sample pregnancy test, and I am quite impressed. It has a long, curved handle making it easy to hold. It has a wider tip making it easier to hit. Plus there are 2 in the pack, which is great.

To paraphrase a line from Titanic (yes, I’m old), I feel like I (and every other recent review on this site) am standing in the middle of a crowded room, screaming at the top of my lungs, and no one even looks up. There is a quality control issue with the Early Result tests, and no one is listening or even acknowledging this feedback. I’ve been pregnant four times (three living children) over the span of the past two decades. Two decades of buying First Response Early Result tests because up until recently, they were the best. I know what an indent line is. I know how to read a pregnancy test. And even I got burned this past month by seven - count ‘em, SEVEN - tests from four different boxes, purchased at two different stores at different times, that look unquestionably positive when they’re unquestionably not. All of these “positives” popped up by the three-minute mark and were photographed well before the ten-minute cutoff. And yes, the lines were pink. Board of Directors… manufacturing team… anyone… have you ever tried to conceive? Have you ever experienced the humiliation of discovering that the “positive” test you got earlier that week looks an awful lot like the “positive” tests described by countless other burned women, the sinking realization that the thing you’ve been excited about all week long was nothing more than a lie? Or is it just more convenient to dismiss the flood of feedback as coming from consumers who don’t know how to use a pregnancy test, who probably just had a chemical pregnancy (all of us? really?), who don’t matter as much as your bottom line? Your silence is deafening.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the past six years, I have had four pregnancies. For each of these (and several false alarms), I have trusted First Response pregnancy tests! While the design has changed since I first used them, it works just as well as the original tests. I LOVE the new design!! The handle is curved to make it much easier to hold in the stream line. The tip is also wider, so if your stream line is not quite so straight, it is not a problem! I highly recommend the new and improved First Response early detection pregnancy tests!

Oh my gosh when I was 18 I thought i was pregnant ! I bought this test and ran to the supermarket bathroom . Usually you have to wait like 15 minutes for the results but this was basically 123, I’ve never had such a high sigh of relief and cry at the same time
