Gave me a false PINK positive test after test. I recently had a miscarriage at almost 12 weeks pregnant. We started trying to conceive again, and got a false positive. I bought test after test to keep an eye on my lines getting darker, and every time I got a PINK second line. Went to my doctor to get my blood work, and low and behold NOT pregnant. I will never trust these tests again, wrong for you to play with someone's emotions like that!!

Dipped two First Response from the same box in one sample of urine. One was obviously positive and the other was completely negative. After a few dollar store tests I now know I'm not pregnant despite an obvious pink line that showed within the time frame. With PCOS, one ovary, and endo..I thought our miracle happened.

I had multiple positive tests even a digital to confirm and come to find out America's most trusted brand has become lower than a dollar brand test with false positives and indents!! Shame on you First Response for not only being so costly but distributing horrible tests that crush women, and cause heartbreak QUIT ADVERTISING AS AN EARLY TEST WHEN IN FACT YOU GIVE FALSE HORRIBLE RESULTS

I think that this company is playing on the emotions of women who are looking for that hopeful second line. 9 out of 10 tests that I buy have a perfectly straight, vertical scratch right where the test line is supposed to appear. Sometimes there is more than one scratch. It's like they are using already used plastic for the strip OR strategically placing a scratch in that spot so that women have to second guess whether they see a line or not. It's not every “once in a while” either, it's on almost all the tests I buy.

Both the original FRER and the digital gave me false positives on TWO separate occasions!! We have been trying for 5 years so if you can imagine, we were heartbroken when the blood test came back with 0 hcg!! FIX THIS FIRST RESPONSE!! I will never buy these tests again!

I tested 7 DPO and I got a faint positive but it was so faint I thought it might not be right. So naturally I read reviews to see if other women got false positives. There's so many negative on here that say they're false positives but the majority of the photos look like evap or dye lines, not actual positives. So I took 2 more 12 and 24 hours later and it continued to get darker. I'm surprised at how soon DPO I got a BFP. So if you see a faint line, be aware it might be evap and just take another test and try not to get your hopes up until you see a BFP.

This pregnancy test was very accurate and I was surprised that it still showed positive even though my missed period was close to a week away. The positive pink line was faint at first, but it continued to get darker as the days progressed. I will be purchasing these tests again when I am looking to have a baby in the future.

I took one test and got a faint 2nd line. The next day, I took another and got another faint, but darker than the day before, 2nd line. After taking other tests and receiving multiple negatives, I researched and found out these have been giving multiple people false positives. This can be heartbreaking for people TTC.

If I could give this zero stars I would. I got a false POSITIVE. three days later I started my period. Will absolutely never use again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about it too. This is so disappointing and I cannot believe all of the other testimonies that are the saying the same thing. Shame on this company.

This test definitely works 100% .. I was late on my period (2weeks) and I bought the same exact test and took the first one and it came out positive.. I WAS SHOOK so I took the other one and that one came out positive as well .. I literally cried because I was so scared lol but Im currently 32 weeks pregnant now with a precious a baby girl and wouldnt change a thing!
