The Bentgo Kids Chill lunchbox has a nice design. The icepack that comes as part of the lunchbox works well and saves space. The compartments are a good size for my children, and help me to put together a balanced lunch. It is leak proof. The one issue I've had with the lunchbox is mold appearing on the seal. However, Bentgo customer service has been helpful in addressing this issue. Some tips for prevention are washing with White distilled Vinegar regularly, using cling wrap or other plastic over the lid interior silicone, and completely drying after each cleaning - as opposed to air drying.

I did a trial run at home with the ice pack and wasn’t impressed. It didn’t stay cold for hardly 2 hours. But other than that it’s a very cute lunch box and easy for a small child to open. I would be afraid to pack something that requires it to be kept cool for more than an hour or hour and a half.

I did a ton of research and time spent into what would be the best fit for my kiddos wants and needs and I absolutely love this product and my kiddos love using it! Peace of mind knowing items stay cold that need to as well! Very easy to take apart and clean! I would recommend hand washing the exterior case and I have no complaints about actually hand washing all 3 of my kiddos! I did buy the 2 pack for each kid so I’m ready to go and prepared for the next day to make life a bit easier! Enjoy! Great product!:)

I bought this four months ago, have been cleaning per instructions. Product warped and won’t close now, though I am told I am getting a replacement. Also, the two large bento boxes in the lunchbox are a tad small, can be a tight squeeze to get half a sandwich or an applesauce/yogurt pouch to fit.

We were looking for a lunch box with cooler pack that had a reliable seal and would fit in our toddler twins’ small backpacks. It was a tall order, but this checked all of the boxes. We haven’t had any issues with it opening by itself and the food stays in its own compartment. We had a latch issue with one box just past the one-year mark, and are currently working with Bentgo on replacement since these also have a two-year warranty. That’s a big plus!

I really loved the idea of this lunch box to keep my kids food cold at school. Unfortunately it’s too heavy for a kindergartner to put in his backpack. So it will be back to using ice packs for us. For family trips it will be great but not for walking bravely into the classroom.

We purchased this in August for our children and it has handled well under heavy use. We use this every day with our kids. It has suitable compartments for veggies, fruits, a snack and a larger portioned compartment for a main course. We use these for lunches and they’ve held up quite well!

Bought this for my toddler who is in daycare. I have to say, I love the chill insert and the mess free compartments. I keeps all the food separate and is very easy to clean. I did some digging prior to buying And at this point don’t regret spending the money. With a all the positive reviews and warranty attached to this, it was a no brained. I called them about an issue I was having with the backpack and was hoping to find a replacement piece (I've already had the backpack for over a year). And instead, they offered to send me a brand new one! The backpack is great! Lots of storage and very easy to clean. Having a separate, insulated area for food makes it very convenient and different from the others. I will continue ordering from Bentgo.
