I LOVE this but wish the ice pack stayed cold a little longer

Perfect portion control for adults who are also on the go. The chill tray is a must in Nevada.

Tray lifts when opening lid. Just bought this, have not washed or used it yet. I bought a two pack and one opens normally, the other lifts the tray which remains adherent to the lid when opening. Will return.

We bough 2 of the same Bentgo boxes for our daughters to use for school lunches. We loved how much space there was and how durable they were. The girls would drop their lunchboxes several times during the day and these withstood it all. Unfortunately, towards the end of the school year we started to notice some mold growing on the seal of the lid and on the corners of the container itself. We have NEVER washed the lunch boxes in the dishwasher, ALWAYS hand wash and when storing them away we would make sure they were completely dry to not trap any moisture. We stopped using them for health reasons but would still buy the product again, which we did the following school year but THOSE Bentgo boxes unfortunately would stop being able to stay shut about halfway during the school year.

All of us, parents and kiddo, love this lunchbox. We keep food cool in it in the fridge, then keep it cool on the go with the ice pack. Refill as needed. The food tray also comes out for use at the dinner table. Got recommended this by a friend and we've never looked back, and have recommended it to everyone we know.

We absolutely love this lunchbox. It’s the perfect size for my elementary school girls. We love that there Is a removable ice pack attached to the lunchbox. We also love that it is dishwasher safe. With that being said it is extremely poorly designed. The latch to open it close The lunchbox CONSISTENCY breaks every six months. We have had to replace the lunchbox maybe 4 times each child. I’m hoping That bentgo creates a better design for the latch, maybe something metal and not plastic . I can’t imagine that this is not occurring with the majority of elementary aged children. I have two girls that I would not call “aggressive”. Its a shame because it’s such a great design else wise.

This is my daughters 3rd Bentgo box! Doesn’t leak and keeps everything put, great for picky eaters cause you can do a variety of their fav foods! Switched to the chill one since the compartments are larger since she’s getting older! I had to contact customer support, they were quick to get back to me with excellent customer service! great product and great company! Definitely worth it!

I really loved the idea of this lunch box to keep my kids food cold at school. Unfortunately it’s too heavy for a kindergartner to put in his backpack. So it will be back to using ice packs for us. For family trips it will be great but not for walking bravely into the classroom.
