I'm glad that i found this product as it gives your cloth the same softness without any additional perfumes. No signs of alergy so far as my skin is too sensitive for certain products.. This product is the best option for the people like me who has allergic reactions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy Free and Gentle has been a God send to me. Since I was a child I have had to deal with sensitive skin. Here recently I noticed that my skin was becoming irritated where my under garments touched my skin for long periods of time. I knew it was more than likely due to the detergent and softener that I used, so I decided to give Downy Free and Gentle a try, and I am so glad that I did. I used one full top for one load of under garments and although I miss the smell of other softeners, my under garments came out super soft. While during the day I would find myself having embarrassing itches I now can go through the day irritation free due to there being no dyes or fragrances in the product. I am super pleased with the results and look forward to trying them on the rest of my clothes. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that has suffered from skin sensitivities.

Our family dog (we refer to her as our sons' "little sister"; she kind of rules the house) has terrible allergies. As part of preventative measures, I switched to hypoallergenic detergent and cleaning supplies. I had always used Downy fabric softener in the past but was unaware that a fragrance- and dye-free option was available. As soon as I got my hands on a bottle, I stripped our beds and washed everything. Everything came out of the washer smelling clean but not perfumed, and it is so nice to sleep on SOFT sheets again! Downy Fabric Conditioner is going to be a staple in our house from now on!

We've a new bottle that upon opening was also in a gel form. Today I called the 1-800 number given here and which is also the bottle. Instead of getting to their service department i had to sit through a plug for some emergency medical alert device. When I told the lady I wasn't interested she continued to go over the reasons I should buy this service. Furious, I hung up.

This time of year I like to hang my laundry out, so I always use fabric softener to keep the clothes from getting to stiff. I will say that Downy Free did keep my clothes soft, order free, and without wrinkles. It also rained a few day this week so I had to use the dryer. The clothes did come out soft but also were somewhat wrinkly. I think if you have allergy's then this is a great product. However, I would have to use this much longer to see how the clothes actually hold up.

Originally I always used Downy. Found out I'm allergic to perfumes. So when I found out that my Downy would have to go, I almost cried. Found out Downy made Downy Free and Sensitive. The Downy softness is still there, just no scent. It still feels the same when you're curled under a blanket, and when your in college, you need something that helps you relax. Thank GOD that there is Downy Free and Sensitive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product with both liquid detergent, pods and powdered detergent. Compared to dryer sheets, dryer balls and Downy Original. Dryer Sheets and Balls - Much softer and less clingy. Versus regular Downy - was just as soft and comfy, but when I took it out of the washing machine to dry - felt light. Usually when I use downy original liquid, i feel a film on my clothes before I dry, but this version is great! delicate on my clothes and comes out soft and fresh :)

I LOVE Downy fabric softener. It is the only one I have ever used. My wife happened to pick up a bottle of the Ultra Downy Free & Gentle. It is so thick you can hardly get it out of the bottle. I have read some things about it freezing and such, but it is the middle of summer here, so I know that isn't the case. I also heard that it has a shelf life. We have three ACTIVE boys and do a LOT of laundry. That isn't the case. I don't know what it is, but it isn't usable as it is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think Downy Free and Gentle Liquid Fabric Conditioner makes my clothes feel fresh and rejuvenated. I used along with my normal laundry detergent and compared before/after to find that my clothes were reset to a great feeling. I normally wash my clothes with only laundry detergent to clean and smell good, however after adding a fabric conditioner my clothes did not contain as much extra lint and felt smoother. Adding to a He washing machine was very simple. Just measure after adding clothes and add to the designated fabric softner location. Very easy to do with only another pour. The wash cycle remains the same and you can dry as usual.
