I wanted to get rid of the wrinkles and this does the job. Also I've very sensitive skin so I need the non fragrant products. This is a perfect match to my laundry detergent so far. Costs is just right. I highly recommend this product especially to those who are very prone to allergies and stuffs.

I tried this product on several different wash settings and all loads came out with the same softness and i absolutely had no itching or rash on my skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think Downy Free and Gentle Liquid Fabric Conditioner makes my clothes feel fresh and rejuvenated. I used along with my normal laundry detergent and compared before/after to find that my clothes were reset to a great feeling. I normally wash my clothes with only laundry detergent to clean and smell good, however after adding a fabric conditioner my clothes did not contain as much extra lint and felt smoother. Adding to a He washing machine was very simple. Just measure after adding clothes and add to the designated fabric softner location. Very easy to do with only another pour. The wash cycle remains the same and you can dry as usual.

However I always try and use it sparingly in an effort to save money. I was delighted and ready to try a free full size sample of this product. The product lacked the fragrance I love about Downy and it lacked the softness that regular Downy gives to laundry. I didn't really notice a difference between using it and just using detergent. However I am aware that I don't have any skin allergies to typical detergent or fabric softener so I cannot be an accurate judge of the product for those that are in need of products that do not contain certain ingredients such as dyes and perfumes.

But, with this Downy Free & Gentle, I was wrong! It does get all the dingy, gross smells out of the clothes without leaving an overpowering scent of fragrances. If you are like me and tend to think pessimistically, you'll probably overlook this bottle and go straight for another. But, I encourage you to give it a try too!

I have always been a fan of Downy and have used it for many many years to keep my clothes in good shape! Downy smells great and I've never experienced an issue with their products. But this new version of Downy without the dyes and perfumes takes the cake. How can you pass this up? My kids have sensitive skin thanks to my bloodline and I have even been able to use this downy fabric softener with their clothes too! They have not had a rash or any type of reaction as of yet. I'm really happy that I can wash all of our stuff from towels, stuffed animals, kids clothes, my clothes, the husband's clothes, and everything in between with this one fabric softener. I am so happy that Downy has made this product. It has helped me be the best mom I can be!

Originally I always used Downy. Found out I'm allergic to perfumes. So when I found out that my Downy would have to go, I almost cried. Found out Downy made Downy Free and Sensitive. The Downy softness is still there, just no scent. It still feels the same when you're curled under a blanket, and when your in college, you need something that helps you relax. Thank GOD that there is Downy Free and Sensitive!

I LOVE Downy fabric softener. It is the only one I have ever used. My wife happened to pick up a bottle of the Ultra Downy Free & Gentle. It is so thick you can hardly get it out of the bottle. I have read some things about it freezing and such, but it is the middle of summer here, so I know that isn't the case. I also heard that it has a shelf life. We have three ACTIVE boys and do a LOT of laundry. That isn't the case. I don't know what it is, but it isn't usable as it is.

This product worked better than I could have imagined. My clothes ended up super soft and did not stiffen at all during line drying.
