[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For those that suffer from allergies or sensitivities to fragrance and/or dye Ultra Downy Free & Gentle is an excellent product. Works just as well as other fabric softeners and is a great addition to the line up of other products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this product to give my family's clothes and linens that special soft touch they have loved since they were babies. As my children grew older I would sometimes mix in a little bit of the lavender fabric softener for a gentle scent that they described as nice and relaxing. I love when people compliment us on our good smelling clothing and my family loves the softness of climbing into bed, into the heavenly soft sheets and blankets.

I have used Downy Free and Sensitive for about 5 years and love it. Especially since my granddaughter has very sensitive skin and dermatologist recommended using only "free" products. Preparing for retirement and fixed income, I stocked up and needed to store extras in my garage which can get quite hot (Phoenix in summer!). I just opened a container that had been stored for about 8 months and it is SOLID. I've tried everything.....scooping out a bit and adding water and shaking and mixing, but it is still lumpy. What can I do? Can this be salvaged or will it never mix and damage my laundry? Please advise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] usually shy away from fabric softer because I have sensitive skin. When I saw Downy Free and Gentle, I decided to give it a try. Towels and sheets came out soft and fluffy. When I put the folded towels, washed with Downy Free and Gentle, in my linen closet, they were twice as fluffy as the towels I previously washed without Downy Free and Gentle. My sheets were also so soft and comfy. Best of all, NO allergic reaction to a new product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has super sensitive skin, so we can't use anything with dyes or perfumes without him getting a rash. I tried Downy Free & Gentle with our last loads of laundry. It was a little messy pouring it into the dispenser in my front load washing machine. Pouring straight from the bottle, the liquid dripped from the spout area onto the floor in the process of lifting it up to put the cap back on. Other than that the product is great. Left clothes nice and soft, and no irritation on my child's skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Downy Free and Gentle Liquid Fabric Conditioner is a great choice for people that have sensitivity to scents but they still want the benefits of a conditioner. It performs great, it makes the clothes soft with no fragrance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although Downy Free and Gentle Liquid Fabric Conditioner is great for people with sensitive skin/allergies or for newborns, my clothes came out of the dryer with static. The smell out of the container is a little off-putting but comes out scent free when clothes are dry. I would consider getting it if I have a newborn again but otherwise it is not as soft and creates static which my regular fabric softener does not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this fabric softener is WONDERFUL! I have very sensitive skin so I like the fact that this has no dyes or perfumes. I like to air dry most of my clothes and Ultra Downey allows me to do this and still have very soft clothes. I have used this fabric softener mostly on jeans and cotton shirts and sweaters. The results have been great. The colors stay the same without fading. I would definitely us it again.

snuggle changed and i could no longer use it, so decided to give downy a try and was happy to see one didn't smell and that was sensitive. people like me with sensitive skin have problems finding products to buy and use. thank you for thinking about all your customers making products that give people more choices. please think about making this product in a larger bottle. so far i am really happy with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While our household generally doesn’t use fabric softener, my wife and I decided to give it a shot, because our clothes were getting a little faded and rough. This was our second time using a fabric softener, and first time using ultra Downey. Overall, I can’t give it a bad or great review. I honestly did not notice a difference, even after a few loads. Maybe this is something I would have to use for a long period of time to see better results, but if I am spending my hard earned money, I may just stick to my laundry pods.
