[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying Downy Free & Gentle Fabric Conditioner I am hooked. I have not purchased liquid fabric softeners in several years due to the over bearing scents. Both my husband and I have allergies. Although laundry detergents have been "free & clear", the fabric softeners seemed to be increasing in scents & it was becoming more difficult to find one that did not cause an allergic reaction. I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only did I not have an allergic reaction, but that my clothes were softer and more fluffy. My clothes not only smell clean, but now they also feel clean. I would recommend this to anyone, especially those who cannot use scented products.

My hubby has terribly sensitive skin, but was a-ok with Downy Free and Gentle Liquid Fabric Conditioner. Our clothes were nice and soft, and it prevented fading on his navy blue scrubs!

I love this product, but often I am unable to open the lid when my arthritis is bothering me. If this design flaw is not corrected, I will have to find a different product. Because no matter how much I like it ... If I can't open to top, I can not use it.

Since it was gentle and for sensitive I decided to try on my Little ones laundry. And it did the trick all of her little spots were gone. Happy mom, happy baby.

I will never buy this product ever again. I have used Downy softener for many years with no problems until now. Then I tried their Free and Gentle product. Now I am faced with replacing two blouses and a pair of slacks. The items went into my washer with no stains and came out with stains so large and in several places that they can not be worn. So disappointed!

Our towels are so soft after using it in the wash. I love the way they feel and look. This product also helped keep her sweaters looking brand new by not fading or stretching in the wash. I love the Downy name and I am so glad to have a product that I can safely use for my family.

Having a toddler I wash clothes so often and have always struggled finding the best fabric condtioner that’s gentle enough to use on my daughters clothes. But this was perfect. Made our clothes soft and The best part is it was odor free. Would deff reccomend to others.

The fact that it doesn't leave their stuff with a harsh, powerful smell of fakeness but still leaves everything soft and cozy is amazing. I'm so glad I found this because I didn't know about it prior to trying it.

One of the best things was it didn't have a strong fragrance to it. Highly recommend this for individuals with sensitive skin or people who work in medical field due to the low fragrance it has.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy Free and Gentle Liquid Fabric Conditioner is very conditioning, making my clothes feel nice and soft. I’m not sure I like the smell of it though. Although, for my sensitive skin it is very suitable. Usually when I think of fabric softeners, I think of a clean and fresh scent that lasts, which this product does not have. Also, this 34 oz sample is supposed to contain enough for 40 loads; very small loads I guess. I’m also curious as to why this product is called a fabric conditioner as opposed to the usual fabric softener.
