The manual offers little in the way of how to operate the thing. The best thing I can say about this printer is that the quality of the print is excellent. Outside of that it is bulkier and extremely user un-friendly and I still can't figure out how to find out how much ink is left in the bottles. My ENVY 5530 was so much easier to use and I loved it. So naturally, they discontinued it. :(

We love the ease of transitioning from printing to copying. The button functions are very simple and easy to navigate. Additionally, the quality of the prints is superb for this printer. after 2 weeks it went crazy started printing out the same thing over and over again and the only way to stop it was to turn it off and tryed talking to a teck but had to pay for that so i just dumped it tryed contacting to send back but only got a computer who did not comput..

I needed just a small printer, copier & scanner. This seems to be very good for me. I wanted a smaller size than I had. It fits my printer stand perfectly and am able to reach it comfortably. I have only had it for a short while, but it has printed perfectly so far.

I have a small home-office area, and it fits perfectly without taking over the space. Setup was much easier than I expected. Connecting it to my Wi-Fi was straightforward, and the instructions walked me through the process without any frustration. I was also a little apprehensive about filling the individual ink tanks because I pictured ink everywhere, but it was surprisingly simple and clean. No mess at all! The print quality has been excellent so far, and I really like being able to see the ink levels directly on the front of the printer. The refillable tanks are probably my favorite feature because they seem much more convenient for someone who prints regularly. Overall, it has been easy to set up, easy to use, looks great in my office, and has performed exactly as I hoped. So far, I’m very happy with it.

I just recently bought the HP Smart Tank 5101, I love the crisp colors but the machine takes a long time recognizing and printing. The other day it wouldn't print and I had to delete the printer from the computer and redo everything all over again which was a hassle since I was in a time crunch to get documents printed. Other than that, I have only had it installed for two weeks so I cannot give any more insight in the long run of it's performance.

Not loving it at all. Aside from the fact that it doesn’t print double sides( assumed it would- it doesn’t mention that)) the paper feeder is nothing but trouble as well as the tray that the printed copies come out is annoying. If you print single pages twice a year it is good.

I purchased the HP Smart Tank 5000 to replace and older HP OfficeJet Pro that had gotten old and worn. I also wanted to save money over the ink cartridges. I am quite happy with this printer. The print quality is great and its ability to handle heavier weight paper is very helpful.

This printer is OK..I don't particularly like the paper feed being at the back. Harder to load when the printer has a shelf above it. Don't like the automatic shut off, printers are not always in the same room as the computer. Printing is clear and ink was easy to load
