Wow, what an amazing block of knives! They are super sharp and provide an array of cutting abilities. First off, the block is solid and looks great on my countertop. The knives slide in each slot with relative ease. I love the 3” paring knife with point and curved blade. It makes cleaning and cutting up small things so easy. The knife blades are solid and riveted thru the entire handle and they feel well balanced when using. The grip is ergonomic and comfortable in my hands for right or left hand use. I haven’t had a need to try the boning knife yet, but the point and shape will certainly make trimming larger cuts of meat easy. My favorite knife so far is the 7” Santoku knife for slicing and dicing vegetables. The blade design slices clean and items separate perfectly. This set comes with both long and short serrated knives. The small one cleanly slices both bread and tomatoes. The large serrated knife slices thru homemade raisin bread like a champ! Every kitchen deserves and needs a pair of kitchen shears. I only use these for food processing such as snipping up chicken or trimming fat. Wash them in warm soapy water and trim leafy greens and herbs. And last but not least is the beautiful set of six steak knives held in the base section of the knife block. This makes storage of those so convenient. We enjoy grilling steaks and these steak knives look great with our table service and slice even better. Overall this is a beautiful and useful knife set. It would make an awesome gift!

I can’t say enough good things about Henckels knives! They feel great in your hand and give you awesome control while you’re cutting. The stainless steel is high quality, and these blades are sharp—like, really sharp! Plus, they look nice in the kitchen. If you’re looking for a reliable and stylish knife set, I definitely recommend these!

I really like this set! I feel like every few years my knife sets go dull even after sharpening them, so I get frustrated and buy new ones. They're all just thrown into a drawer with some missing covers at this point, so it's really not a safe storage method either. I decided to upscale my kitchen a bit and get this nice knife block with a whole new set of knives in it. I really love that it has everything I need and the knives are super sharp! It even has a set of scissors in it too. The block itself is wooden and seems to be very solid and excellent quality. It keeps everything organized rather than just thrown into the drawer, getting more dull and potentially injuring myself as I dig through to find the one I need. It is not heavy but does have nice weight to it, adding to the feel of quality. It really elevates my kitchen and looks really nice and professional. If not a gift for yourself, I feel this would make a beautiful housewarming or wedding gift as well!

This is a great knife set! Very sharp, they’ve easily sliced through everything I’ve tried. Usually I have trouble finding knives sharp enough to easily cut through the peel of tomatoes but with these - those tomatoes didn’t stand a chance!! Having the scissors is a definite plus for me and a must have when I’m looking for a knife set. While I am used to a built in knife sharpener I am looking forward to learning how to use the honing rod that’s included with this set when the knives need sharpening. I also love that the steak knives are serrated, my previous set didn’t have that and didn’t seem to cut steaks or chops as well as this set does.

This knife block is really nice and the knives are super shape. It always comes with something to sharpen your knives so they won’t ever be dull. The block isn’t big and bulky, so it will look nice sitting on your counter. Cuts through a steak like your slicing through butter.

This is a nice set. I had the same set but a few years older and this is improved. Although, i dont see much of a point to the utility knife. Id rather have a boning knife. With all that, these steak knifes are my new favorites.

These knives were right on time. I had some but of course they didn’t cut like these and then when they got dull, I didn’t have a knife sharpener to use. I like the different sizes and the scissors are better than the ones I had to cut meat.

This is a beautiful knife set in a gorgeous wood block. Theres 6 steak knives and 6 other knives plus a pair of scissors. The knives cut very nicely. They are also made with a one piece of metal. The our super strong and easy to use.

Very nice knives set. This set comes a with a sharpener and shears. The block is well made and the various knives are very sharp out of the box. These knives are comparable to top brands and are great for cutting veggies.

Nice upgrade. I have been loyal to the brand for years and this set definitely includes some knives i was in need of and the sharpener is a added plus over time of being worn down having a great sharpener does help prolong the life of the knives
