I absolutely love these knives! From the moment I took them out of the box, I could tell they were high quality. They have a great weight to them—not too heavy, but solid enough to feel durable and well-made. The handles are comfortable to grip, and they fit perfectly in my hand, making cutting feel smooth and effortless. I've used them for a variety of kitchen tasks, from slicing meats to chopping vegetables, and they've performed beautifully every time. Whether I'm cutting through thick chicken breasts or delicate herbs, these knives glide through without resistance. It’s honestly made meal prep so much easier and more enjoyable. What really impressed me was how sharp they are straight out of the box. I didn't need to sharpen them at all before using them, and even after multiple uses, they’re still razor-sharp. I got this set about three weeks ago and wanted to really test them out before reviewing. I’m familiar with the Henckels brand from purchasing knives here and there from estate sales but noted that this set is Henckels International, which is slightly different and slightly lower quality. However, after using these knives repeatedly over the last few weeks, I’ve been pleasantly surprised. They have stayed sharp despite heavy use and washings. I haven’t noticed any difference in performance over the older Henckels knives I already own. At the current price, including a beautiful wood storage block, this set is an absolute steal, and I couldn’t be happier with it.

I've been using the Henckels Definition 15-Piece Knife Set for a bit now, and it's seriously impressive! The knives are very sharp - chopping veggies is way easier now. I love that the set comes with a good variety, so I've got the right tool for whatever I'm cooking. The knife block is heavy enough to stay put and looks really nice. Everything feels well made, and it's a big upgrade from the cheap knives I was using before. Definitely worth it!

These knives are really sharp and cut through everything easily. Instantly my favorite knives I have ever used. Such a fast, clean cut that it took a bit before I realized I had cut the end of my thumb off with the paring knife. Love the knives, I just need to go slower. And kids will not be using them.

The Henckel knives are great. I've had mine over 30 years. Bought these for a wedding gift as I know they are great and will last for a long time. They stay sharp, are quality built, & have a great feel.

This is a great knife set! Very sharp, they’ve easily sliced through everything I’ve tried. Usually I have trouble finding knives sharp enough to easily cut through the peel of tomatoes but with these - those tomatoes didn’t stand a chance!! Having the scissors is a definite plus for me and a must have when I’m looking for a knife set. While I am used to a built in knife sharpener I am looking forward to learning how to use the honing rod that’s included with this set when the knives need sharpening. I also love that the steak knives are serrated, my previous set didn’t have that and didn’t seem to cut steaks or chops as well as this set does.

Size of the blades, and variety in lengths is fantastic! I love that some of the knives are both smooth edge and serated. The down side is I have one that is already surface rusting after going in the dishwasher twice. I don’t use harsh cleaning chemicals, so I was very surprised when this happened. So far, it’s only been one knives, so maybe that was just a dud? I couldn’t find anything about hand wash only in the instructions.

This is an awesome set of knives for an amazing price. The only thing that held me back from 5 stars was they aren’t as heavy as some other knives we have owned. Besides that, they are truly amazing and come with a sharpener!

This is a good set of knives with all of the major types you'll need for your kitchen. The wood block is great and I love the color. The knives have a full tang and the handles are smooth and comfortable in my hand. The steak knives have a partial serration which will make them more difficult to sharpen over time. They do feel a little lighter than another name brand knife set that I currently have. Made in China.

Knife block is a bit to big and takes a bit of counter space and is heavy as well. The knives are easy to clean except the zigzag parts get cought on the sponges or wash cloth. Also the zigzag is not such a smooth cut. The handles Re a pretty thick, too big for my hands. They seem to be a good quality of knives. The knives without the zigzags cut smoothly. The sharpener wand and the scissors are a good addition to the collection
