I absolutely love these knives! From the moment I took them out of the box, I could tell they were high quality. They have a great weight to them—not too heavy, but solid enough to feel durable and well-made. The handles are comfortable to grip, and they fit perfectly in my hand, making cutting feel smooth and effortless.

I've used them for a variety of kitchen tasks, from slicing meats to chopping vegetables, and they've performed beautifully every time. Whether I'm cutting through thick chicken breasts or delicate herbs, these knives glide through without resistance. It’s honestly made meal prep so much easier and more enjoyable.

Cooking Just Got So Much Easier!

I got this set about three weeks ago and wanted to really test them out before reviewing. I’m familiar with the Henckels brand from purchasing knives here and there from estate sales but noted that this set is Henckels International, which is slightly different and slightly lower quality. However, after using these knives repeatedly over the last few weeks, I’ve been pleasantly surprised. They have stayed sharp despite heavy use and washings. I haven’t noticed any difference in performance over the older Henckels knives I already own. At the current price, including a beautiful wood storage block, this set is an absolute steal, and I couldn’t be happier with it.

Great Knives!

I recently purchased a set of kitchen knives, and I couldn’t be happier with the quality and performance. This set includes a great variety of knives in different sizes—perfect for everything from precision slicing to heavy-duty chopping. Whether I’m cutting vegetables, filleting fish, or carving meat, there’s always the right tool for the job.

The craftsmanship is truly impressive. Each knife is well-balanced, with a comfortable, ergonomic handle that offers a secure grip even during long prep sessions. The blades are razor-sharp straight out of the box and cut through ingredients with ease. I’ve had other knives before, but none come close to how effortlessly these slice through tomatoes, onions, or even tougher items like sweet potatoes or squash.

What also sets this set apart is the brand’s reputation. I chose this brand because it’s well-known for durability and sharpness—and it lives up to the hype. After several weeks of daily use, I’ve noticed little to no dulling. The knives still feel like new, and honing them is quick and easy. I also appreciate the sleek, modern design. Cleanup is a breeze too. Although I prefer to hand-wash them to maintain the edge, they’re rust-resistant and easy to care for. The knife block is sturdy and well-organized, keeping everything in place and easy to reach.

Set of knives you need

This is a good set of knives with all of the major types you'll need for your kitchen. The wood block is great and I love the color. The knives have a full tang and the handles are smooth and comfortable in my hand. The steak knives have a partial serration which will make them more difficult to sharpen over time. They do feel a little lighter than another name brand knife set that I currently have. Made in China.

All the knives you'll need

These knives work well, have stayed sharp, but they do tend to rust a little in certain places. It does seem to come off with a little rubbing.  It’s not a show stopper for me, as I continue to use them.  Maybe if you washed and dried them immediately they may not do this.  They are nice and heavy and look nice in the counter.

Heavy knives that look nice - but rust a litte

I’m really impressed with the Henckels Knife Set! The knives are exceptionally sharp, made from high-quality stainless steel, and feel lightweight yet durable in hand. I love that they’re also dishwasher safe, which makes cleanup super easy. The set looks beautiful and the FSC-certified woodblock adds a nice eco-friendly touch. My only complaint is the stand—I wish it was more vertical instead of leaning forward, as it takes up a bit more counter space than I’d like. Still, a great quality set overall!

Dishwasher Safe & Razor Sharp,A Kitchen Must Have

Size of the blades, and variety in lengths is fantastic! I love that some of the knives are both smooth edge and serated. 

The down side is I have one that is already surface rusting after going in the dishwasher twice. I don’t use harsh cleaning chemicals, so I was very surprised when this happened. 

So far, it’s only been one knives, so maybe that was just a dud? I couldn’t find anything about hand wash only in the instructions.

Decent… with a caveat

Decent quality for the price point. Good variety of knives, a lot of sets do not include a fillet knife. The scissors are very sharp. Block is nice. Good quality overall. The handles are lightweight, which is nice for some, not really my preference.

These knives are both sleek and high quality! One of my favorite things about this knife block is that it’s not as wide as others. It fits nicely on the counter and looks really nice! The knives are sharp and a great variety of sizes and types.

This is an awesome set of knives for an amazing price. The only thing that held me back from 5 stars was they aren’t as heavy as some other knives we have owned. Besides that, they are truly amazing and come with a sharpener!

What’s not to love with this price

Rusted after first wash straight out of the dishwasher.
