We have two 100 pound lap dos. An Austrailian Shepard and a Silver Lab. We both work outside the home and we a have 1 yr old son. The dogs have adapted to having the baby aropund but still anxious when we are away at work. These help them stay calm while we are at work I would buy these again and again.

My dog is terrified of thunder and I've given these calming bites to him about 30 mins before a storm starts and he's been doing a lot better. He doesn't sit in the corner and shake all over. He will quietly sit on the couch with me and the last few storms he went to sleep. We have bad weather predicted again this weekend so we are prepared!

The packaging is cute and sealed well. Opening the package, the smell is pretty overwhelming. My dogs went from super excited to super not excited and wouldn't take them. I threw them in their treat container instead of the bag for a few days and tried again. They fought over them this time. Once they got them and took a nice long nap, they come to me to "ask" for one. Also good for road trips. They smell bad though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this product 4 stars, because initially, my dog was hesitant in taking the bites. After another try, he took. Other than that, these calming bites really helped my anxiety ridden dog. I was so impressed at how he did not tremor when there was thunder, or when I had to leave the house. Other things I've tried for him, had him shaking like a leaf on a tree. After the first initial taste, my dog willingly took the bites. I'm interested in more flavors that are available.

I was not aware of calming treats for dogs, but it is something we definitely can use for our 1 year old goldendoodle! He is full of energy especially when being social. I like that you only need 1 treat, it also smells just like something Teddy would eat. We gave him 1 treat when we were going out to be around people and when we had visitors since he gets overly excited and jumps on everyone.

They seem to work at calming them down and they love the taste. Will continue to use.

Also im super picky when it comes to ingredients and i trust zesty paw's products' ingredients We gave him one about 30 minutes before we hit the road, and we were amazed at the difference. He settled in quickly, wasn't panting or whining, and even laid down and napped for part of the ride. We honestly couldn't believe it. Owning this product has made travel so much easier. It gave us peace of mind knowing he was comfortable, and it made the trip feel more enjoyable and less stressful for all of us. Yes, I'd absolutely buy this product again-and in fact, I already have another jar on the way! I've recommended it to my fellow dog-parent friends too. If you have an anxious pup or just want to make travel a little easier for them, these calming chews are a game changer.

I received these zesty calming chews not thinking it would make a huge difference but WOW I am shocked! He is definitely calmer and doesn't scratch at the door anymore. My 125lb Great Dane gets anxiety when we leave the house so we started giving these to her an hour before we leave to get her calm and relaxed. The amount of drool pouring out of her mouth as I give them to her is INSANE! She loves these above any other treats we've given her. And we've noticed she is able to relax better and not stress out while we are getting ready to leave the house. These are great and the ingredients are all things that humans take to relax.
