The first week I thought this wasn't working for my Rottie. He was too anxious and hyperactive, every time he watched a dog on the street he acted like crazy, barking, jumping. Even screaming at the other dog. . It was a scene on the street. I started with calming bite 2 per day, then 4 per day without seeing results. Now I am giving him 6 per day : 2 in the morning. 2 at noon and 2 in the evening. He is the same active dog. With too much energy But with less reactivity toward other dogs on the street. He still pay attention to them but without acting like crazy . Now is Just watch and leave...!!

He gets overly excited when it's time to go out and slips and falls all the way out. This really helped him be calmer! And he loves the flavor. He seems overall less stressed. This is great stuff!

I gave my dog one bite three times a day to help him with storms and separation anxiety. He enjoyed them and it really did work! It doesnt turn them into a zombie, it just calms them down a bit to take the edge off. My dog goes insane when storms roll in. He starts shaking and crying before it even hits. I give it to him before it starts and by ther time its really storming he isnt shaking and crying and hiding like he normally did. I highly recommend these calming bites

I have tried other calming treats that never seem to work on one of mine, this product actually seemed to help him. He tends to be bothered by easily and after his calming snack, he was less agitated. Even my picky eater liked it, I wish they didn't crumble as much and were a more uniform size.

Not only did they both love the flavor of these claiming bites, but after following the package dosing chart and giving them each 3 bites, they were calm and chill. This may be my new favorite (and effective) dog supplement ever!

Our dog is still very rowdy at times and we have been seeking something healthy for her that also induced relaxing effects without drugs. Well our search is over. Both our dogs are seniors (16 and 18 yrs old). I purchased this hoping it would help the 16 yr old w/his anxiety issues that worsen in the evenings and for our 18 yr lab that has dementia and thinks night time is day time. Unfortunately this product had the complete opposite effects on both of our dogs. One dog it didn't work at all even after using for several evenings in a row (16 yr old). Our other dog (18 yr old) it didn't effect the first night but the second night she became very anxious/restless/panting/pacing and would not relax for hours. This product was the only thing different she had in those two days. Just like with some people the ingredients in this can cause the opposite effect. On the positive side, the product is easy to break up and place in food/treat (neither of ours would eat it as it's comes) and the packaging can be reused or recycled.

It seemed to calm her down, if you're expecting or hoping it will completely have your dog docile this is not the product for it.

I got this product to test for my dogs and I have noticed a MASSIVE difference in their behavior. I was tempted to sign them up for obedience classes but the pandemic came and I was lost. I recommend these first anyone with a very hyper dog. It's safe for super excited puppies as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We gave this to our 1 year old Shiba Inu and she loved the taste! She always enjoys eating it, but I'm not sure it actually calms her down. She's been spoiled by a work from home mom so when I leave to take the kids to karate practice she sometimes gets some anxiety. I did see a decrease in her trying to destroy things (eating the walls, chewing on shoes, etc) but when we gave it to her while we were home (to watch how she reacted before giving it when we weren't around) she had a little bit of calm down time, but it mostly seemed to either not effect her or it wound her up more. Shibas can be cray cray all on their own so its hard to tell if it was just normal shenanigans or the calming bites that wound her up. But again, there was maybe 20-30 mins of calm, sleepy Shiba. I would recommend this to try, as it will of course effect different dogs in different ways. I think its well worth a shot.
