[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have three rescue Goldens: one young, active, skittish; one older with a long history of anxiety; and our oldest who's very scared of thunder and loud noises. We do a variety of things with our dogs already to address their needs: training, doggy oils, etc. But now that our neighborhood is again busy with loud people, UTVs, storms, etc. they need more, and the Calming Bites seems to take the edge off. Only reason for the four stars is it does seems subtle, but still noticeable. Will definitely keeps these on hand to support our Goldens!

This calming chew won't replace normal behavioral corrections, but it can help owners feel more confident in their training efforts. While I didn't observe a dramatic change in my dog's demeanor, the chew seemed to create a slightly calmer atmosphere. This subtle shift allowed me to approach training with a more relaxed attitude, which ultimately benefited both me and my dog. I obviously can't personally comment on the turkey flavor, but judging by how quickly my dog scarfed it down, getting her to take her calming chews won't be a challenge.

My pups used to get super anxious during thunderstorms and car rides, but these treats have made such a difference. I have tried other calming treats that never seem to work on one of mine, this product actually seemed to help him. He tends to be bothered by easily and after his calming snack, he was less agitated. Even my picky eater liked it, I wish they didn't crumble as much and were a more uniform size.

I love that these are natural, grain free, small easy to chew & best of all -they do not stink like other brands we have tried. I gave them to the pups during a recent AZ monsoon. The peanut butter flavor was a hit with my girls. None of the pups seemed too lethargic or drugged, just calm. I am impressed by the variety of all natural ingredients which make up the recipe. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Zesty Paws for the free product. I have a 9 year old Mini Schnauzer that is still high energy and difficult to calm. The instructions recommended only feeding a half dose to begin. The texture of each bite is very soft and so I found them difficult to break in half as they would crumble in my hand. The bottom of the bag has a lot of crumbs. I think the package should be more sturdy. Taste wise my dog loved them and ate them without any hesitation. I did feed in the evening, which is when we go on our walk and it's when I need him to be calm and less stimulated. To be honest, I have a hard time telling if they are having the full intended effect. He seems more hazy than usual and a little more oblivious. He doesn't go to sleep either. He will lay but his eyes will be wide open. There was so no bad reaction, so I think I'll keep feeding for a few more weeks. I think they're good for car rides. He's still conscious but is more willing to lay down and stay in his car seat. Still cries and is nervous too.

She is more zen and chill and doesn't start shaking endlessly when it's time for me to go to the store or leave the house in any capacity. We have genuinely enjoyed these and plan on buying them again! It's amazing that these are just available in the store and we don't have to go through a vet to get them!

My pup has anxiety and was looking for some help. My pup really likes these and after having one seems to settle not have some of the symptoms I have noticed with the anxiety. The container is a lot bigger then I thought it would be which is a plus. A real value and since it seems to be helping will order more.

We've had a lot of strong storms lately and a few of these treats really helps take the edge off for them. Instead of pacing, they both just laid down and were pretty calm during the storms. I wasn't expecting such a great response. They love the flavor and just think they're getting a regular treat!
