It truly delivers long lasting laser hair removal at home, and I love how seamless it is to use. You can cover a significant amount of surface area in a quick amount of time, and it’s so easy to do that I often would pop on a movie or a TV show while doing it. It is also relatively painless and you can visibly see results very fast. It’s especially great to use in the winter when you don’t get as much sun exposure anyways.

I can see a difference after using it for three weeks. Secondly the packaging is beautiful, the device can be used in different areas, since it has multiple heads and settings. I am in love! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this for free from Influenster in exchange for an honest review. So you have to be patient and muster a bit of courage. This is the first IPL device I’ve used. I suggest doing some research as well as this has a higher chance of success on certain skin tones and hair tones. It worked for me! It takes a couple weeks but I’ve noticed that the hair under my pits are growing slower and scarcer. I’ve always been afraid of waxes but this doesn’t hurt as much I thought it would and I’m sure it’s less painful than waxes. Hope it works for you!

I got this model expecting more from the app, but still needs a lot of work. Sometimes gets stuck. It doesn’t give you much info. It can be hard to move dates so I have to erase the plan for lower legs (ex) to update the date. Still on my firsts sessions so I can’t tell if it does works on my hair. Hope it does! I know it’s a good brand.

I've done *everything* to try to get rid of it or minimize it - waxing, plucking, shaving, epilating, dermaplaning, professional laser treatments. The professional treatments were the best, but they were thousands of dollars and the results were very brief - even with a full year of consistent treatment a lot of hair would return within a month. There was no way that I could continue to spend that kind of money on a temporary solution. I spent hundreds on other brands of at home IPL and they were useless. After seeing so many positive reviews for this Braun IPL I decided to give it a go. The results are so far beyond what I hoped for I could cry. I've been using it twice weekly for two months and there has been a drastic decrease in the amount of hair, texture of hair, hyperpigmentation from years of skin damaging hair removal methods, and a massive improvement to the overall texture of my skin. My constantly embarrassing five o'clock shadow is gone. Some realism: you Must patch test, you Must start at the lowest setting and only work your way up when you know your skin can handle it, you Must follow the directions regarding shaving vs plucking - this is a serious device. Be aware it works best on dark hair and only middling on blonde hair (my dark hair patches are Gone, but the blonde patches are more stubborn). I do use this in combination with tretinoin, which is doable but higher risk. I let my skin get used to the IPL for a month before resuming tretinoin. I have a routine of tretinoin, wait three days, IPL in the morning and tretinoin in the evening, repeat, giving my skin a few days of recovery from the tretinoin before the IPL. I'm not recommending that you do this without patch testing and knowing what your skin can handle, but since I saw so many mixed messages online about it, it's worth mentioning that it may be doable for you.

I used it for a month before writing this review, and although my underarm hair isn’t gone forever, it is much slower to grow and I don’t shave nearly as much. For reference, I was shaving daily. Going to try it on my legs next!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm delighted with the Braun Skin - I Expert Pro IPL! It's incredibly user-friendly, and the addition of a nice case is a bonus. As a repeat Braun IPL user, I'm thoroughly satisfied with this newer version. The flashes feel more gentle, smooth and fast. Definitely is improved version of an already great product! I’m using it on area that was treated professionally in a beauty salon and in untreated area. Takes a bit longer for untreated area to see results as I have more hair there. But I’m also happy that I can maintain the results of the salon treatment!

I’ve had a different brand IPL device years ago and it was extremely slow and took way too long to treat even smaller areas. This device is quick and powerful. You merely have to hold the button down and it will continuously pulse while you move throughout the treatment area. Highly recommend!

I own both the pro 5 and now the smart. I was curious if I would have better results with the smart and I have. I had some stubborn facial hair that is now almost gone after 5 weekly sessions. I also found the smart to be more affective on my legs than the pro. Also with both I had better results than when I paid a lot of money for not so great results at a med spa. And that was just for my face. With this I can touch up as needed and it’s super easy and private. Well worth the investment.

With each use, it gets to know your skin tone and body hair to optimize and improve treatments every time. The super easy app even guides you for total confidence and control over your at home med spa results. So if anyone ever tries to talk you out of purchasing this revolutionary no brainer, it’s probably because they’re scared of being put out of business and exposed for their outrageously exorbitant service charges. There are no regrets here and I only wish I’d discovered it sooner.
