I was diagnosed with moderate osteoporosis. I had been taking a calcium supplement with minor improvement. My doctor suggested Citracal because it's acidic and calcium doesn't absorb in a basic environment. I was taking a strong antiacid. It has reversed my osteoporosis.

I have osteoporosis and need a calcium supplement this is the one I chose because I don't have to take it with food or I can take it with food and it has the vitamin D that I need for the absorption of the calcium. Two pills is one serving though so I need to take for a day.

The pills are so huge that they often get stuck in my throat. I suffered with taking many more pills by cutting them up into 6 to 8 smaller chunks. Grinding them finely takes too much effort and they are not the best tasting. I will not buy such humongous pills again.

First time buying this product. I am taking one every day, hoping to support my bones because of my osteopenia.

The dose is two pills twice daily. My other calcium supplement was two once daily. I wish I had noticed this before purchasing.

My doctor recommended taking Citracal Calcium Citrate as a Calcium supplement to strengthen my bones after I took a bone density test.

This is a perfect size bottle for those of us needing to include extra calcium into our lifestyle

Bought this because I thought the tablets were smaller. They are not and now I have to swallow 2 big pills. But it was my mistake. Only about a 100 doses to go.

I love the fact that Citracal Maximum Plus contains cloth calcium and Vitamin D. I would rate it 5 stars if the caplets weren’t so big. I’ve tried cutting them in half so they’d be easier to swallow, but I wish I didn’t have to do that.

Citracal proved to be to big a tablet and had a nasty smell and taste. Waste of money. Most likely we will through it out unless we find someone who wants to try it.
