It was ok to put together. I definitely recommend a rubber mallet, and you may need a new one after too. Mine got a little chopped up but I couldn't get the pieces completely together without it. Holds a lot of weight. I even stood on the bottom shelves to try to get them together. We will see how they hold up over time. I've only had it a couple weeks. I have mine set up as two units, 3 shelves and 2. Kind of is like extra counter space since my kitchen is so small. Would've earned 5 stars if the pieces had got together better but my husband and I just struggled too much to get them to fit right. That being said, I would still buy it again if this one broke or if I needed another one.

Nice sturdy shelf. Wasn’t difficult to put together, but it was helpful to have 2 people at first..just to stabilize the frame part of it. Warning…the box arrived completely beat up and I was worried about the contents, but all was unharmed. It is a heavy box 90+ pounds.

I thought for the higher price and the steel beams that this would be a much sturdier shelving unit. Rivets are supposed to lock the shelves into place, I would say only 60% do. Maybe I received a bad unit, I don't know. The unit is to heavy to take back so I will use it but it will be for lighter storage items. I had intended the shelving to be used for 15-20 lb totes.

Great value on this rack but only one thing I didn't like is that it is just a little wobbly if you build it all the way up. I think they should make this same product but with legs just one piece instead of two pieces and that would give a lot more stability.

The shelving unit comes in two sections (a top part and a bottom part). The way these two pieces are connected is very questionable on how sturdy they will be. I would have returned the unit back to the store but it’s very heavy to move for one person.

The new modifications (upgrades) moved this storage rack from a good item to an excellent storage unit. Specifically, the deeper depth of the shelves and the redesign of the connecting mechanism (of top & bottom halves) is so much better, more solid and quicker to assemble. I've already bought three and plan to buy two more for my climate control storage unit.

I purchased this shelving pre pandemic they were great and sturdy. I recently 2024 purchased two more. They look the same, but are not as well made. The connectors are made of cheap plastic and are not even a 1/4", as the previously purchased shelving had metal connectors that were about 4" making them more sturdy. I read other reviews saying the same. Not the same shelving as previously sold, although it looks the same. Cost was just under $100. Would not recommend.

We purchased a similar shelving unit at Sam’s a few years ago for garage storage. It has held up perfectly, so when we needed more storage, we purchased this unit. I like that this one has wood shelves as opposed to the old open metal. (But we will have to see if the wood holds up in the AZ heat.) It is a nice deep size for tubs and bags — also easy to put together. My teen daughter assembled it.

These shelves are sturdy and easy to put together with two people. The price is great compared to other stores. I was able to get two sets of shelves from Sam's for the same price as one set from Home Depot. Delivery to my house was quick and arrived early.

We purchased two for our garage and our children bought them for their garage and basement. It’s pretty easy to put together with just a rubber hammer and it’s sturdy and we all are so happy to get such an amazing deal!!!!!
