It was ok to put together. I definitely recommend a rubber mallet, and you may need a new one after too. Mine got a little chopped up but I couldn't get the pieces completely together without it. Holds a lot of weight. I even stood on the bottom shelves to try to get them together. We will see how they hold up over time. I've only had it a couple weeks. I have mine set up as two units, 3 shelves and 2. Kind of is like extra counter space since my kitchen is so small. Would've earned 5 stars if the pieces had got together better but my husband and I just struggled too much to get them to fit right. That being said, I would still buy it again if this one broke or if I needed another one.

When trying to assemble these shelves alone, there are issues to get the first shelf mounted in the four support pillars. You also have to be very careful when inserting the additional shelves to make sure the protruding shelf support engages into the slot on the pillar correctly to catch on both sides of the opening. If it doesn't, you have to use a screw driver to wedge/reset the opening as the side that did not catch gets bent inward and will never catch until bent back open. Many reviewers comment on the lack of good support from the little plastic joints provided for use between the top and and bottom sections of the support pillars. All I can say is these little plastic pieces are nothing more than placeholders to assist getting a shelf mounted over the joint to ensure the pillar top and bottom sections stay together. This also means you have live with a shelf set at this height whether you like it or not. The shelf bottoms are nicer quality than expected and altogether (once assembled) it is sturdy.

Love the deep shelves. Sams club multi pack paper products, ie towels, toilet tissue, fit nicely on slelves. The rack is fairly sturdy, but will flex if it is shook even slightly. Also, I feel the shelves themselves are rather thin. It is easy to assemble. Overall, not a bad shelf for the price.

I'm a home organizer and I have used these shelves with many organizing projects. Overall great product for garages or storage unites. Size is perfect for larger bins. Shelves are sturdy and the flexibility of the shelf height makes it easy to use. The solid shelf keeps loose items from falling thru.

This is my favorite shelf. It was easy to put together (took two of us, but we’re in our 60’s and 70’s). It holds a ton and I love that the shelves are adjustable. It’s a great shelf for the price. It’s sturdy and even more stable if you put the heavier stuff on the bottom.

Excellent storage solution for the garage. My wife and I purchased a total of four. Two for each side of the garage. The construction feels mostly sturdy. I don't particularly care for the way the vetical beams are divided in half. Be prepared to use one of the shelves as the main connection point between the upper and lower halves.

We bought these for our business marketing room materials. They are the perfect size and strength for what we needed! The only reason I gave them a four star is because 2 of the boxes came damaged (with slight damages to the shelves themselves). All in all, a great product! Would definitely buy again.

I like it. It wasn't as sturdy as I expected. The metal part of the shelves framing it's so flexible that I could bend it easily with my hand - like pulling a pc. of plywood flexible. It's now a heavy duty type of shelf, but for my purpose, it works perfectly. I have some heavy kitchen appliances and other paper products. It's great for a commercial kitchen or a garage.

This was very hard to assemble and the parts for stacking are very flimsy. The part used for stacking broke several times.. I kept it because I didn’t want to deal with sending it back. I wouldn’t buy. I did speak to customer service and they credited me $48 to supplement getting additional items to help support it. It isn’t safe around small kids.

My husband and Grandson assembled the shelves with no problem. They are very sturdy and have held everything we have put on them. They do not wobble or sway like some of the cheaper racks. We have three of these racks so, yes I would recommend them.
