These are great garage shelves. They were super easy to build and you can fit a ton on them, we put a full sized cooler on a shelf and it fit depth-wise, no problem. As soon as I put them up my husband said, "we should get another one." They look really nice.

I bought this to get rid of other smaller shelving units. I am very pleased as it was easy to reconstruct and it holds so much more that the other two units I had. I only needed help with putting together the first set of braces at the bottom. I'm just not as agile as I once was. After that, I did it without help.

Great shelf for the money , using it as a pantry and it looks great and holds all that we need it to. Very easy to assemble. I almost didn’t buy because of some of the reviews but glad I did, if you follow directions , use a rubber mallet and two people , piece of cake !

For the price, this is an amazing value. The fact that it’s modular is even better. This is the second one I purchased, and I didn’t even realize it was modular until I was assembling the second one. I will definitely buy another to complete my garage setup. Way better than the “cheaper” ones I did away with when I got these. They are pretty sturdy as well. Only potential negative I see is that the shelves are wood based(particle?) and if you use it to store liquids on, if they leak it would potentially damage them. But, for the price, you can’t expect metal shelves.

Love this shelving unit but it could have been built more sturdy. It’s a thin piece of plastic connecting the top and bottom. I feel like if someone were to walk by and bump it too hard it would come falling down. Thankfully mine was put into a nook built into the wall so that won’t happen. The size and weight load is amazing tho! I’m using it for a “pantry” in my kitchen. Later my husband will use it in the shed for tools and the like. Overall I’d recommend with caution for children and such.

Nice looking shelves but very poorly made. I thought i was saving $10 per shelf over a different style but these cost me far more. They took 2 of my employees 8 hours to assemble 8 shelves. No kidding!! The corner rails had to be adjusted to fit together. Once they were together they looked nice. We put a microwave on the shelf and it fell through! So we had to literally drill holes and screw the shelves to the side brackets so that they’d hold any weight without the shelf falling through. So Saving $10 per shelf times 10 shelves was $140 but then cost me well over $400 in man hours to assemble and correct shelf design flaw.

These shelves are dangerous when connected as one shelf unit. The connectors are small plastic pieces that can allow the upper half to pull over.....think children. I ended up using these in half units for piece of mind. A competitor has the same type shelving unit that connects with 4 inch metal connectors that lock into place. Surprised that Sam’s has not identified this as a safety issue.

They are now shipping a black shelf that has a different joining piece. The original gray shelf had metal inserts that joined the upper and lower sections. The new black version has small plastic inserts that require a shelf to be placed between the upper and lower section to hold it together. This new design doesn’t allow you to place all the shelves where you need them for your situation.

I am returning 7 of the 8 shelves that I ordered. My previous shelves had metal pins where the upper and lower shelves connected where the new shelves now have only very small plastic connectors between the upper and lower shelf. They do not appear to be nearly as strong as before!
