These are not the same as the ones I purchased in the past and are very cheaply made. I question if the capacity is as high per shelf as what is being advertised. Thes are a cheaply made stamped steel and not as strong or thick as ones Sam's sold in the past. With that said, they are not terrible shelves but not as nice as the Gorilla Shelves they once sold. Fine for basic storage but I would not load these to the ratings on Sam's site. No way - no how as the metal is flimsy, and the shelf material does not seem strong.

Good: It’s a good value and large shelving unit. Bad: it’s a pain to put together. Even using a rubber mallet there are multiple pieces that bent, would not go together or did not align. Trying to put the shelving pieces on these mangled brackets resulted in broken corners. The unit is still usable and compares to other companies with similar units. I just would plan on using two people and still finding yourself frustrated.

Great product! Sturdy and stong enough to hold most residential storage items. Clean looking in shiny black color. It looks smaller in the box but once its set up, looks prerty big. Its fairly easy to assemble alone, but easier and fastest when you have additional hand. At most 30 minutes assembly time by 1 person

The box is heavy, so they are not flimsy… but if I’m holding 1 piece, it feels light, that’s funny… they do not look cheap, but they do NOT look heavy duty. I only use for lights items, my trailer bike hitch rack sits at the top. I bought 1 set for the garage. about 1 year later I bought another…

The shelf steel is fairly sting but the thin particle board sheets for the shelves are junk. If you are putting anything heavy on them they will not last. I would not buy again or recommend this for anything, garage, kitchen, storage or cubbard. Not sure what it's best suited for but I don't like it.

The shelves are a strong quality. The product in shipping was damaged. Each shelf had 1 or more corners chipped or broken. The banding that was placed around the package caused some of the frame to be misshapen. I didn't return the items, because of personal demand. I will be very cautious about ordering again.

Love these shelves and bought 6 sets. Opened the first box and every shelf insert was broken, all the rest were perfect. Went to exchange it and none of the locations in my area have any left and they are out online. They are awesome shelves for the mone. Here's hoping they get more soon!

Great, sturdy shelving unit and easy to put together and can easily customize the height of the shelves to meet your needs. I would expect to pay double what this unit is priced at, so it's also a fantastic buy. Magnetic tool holders do work on this unit so it's easy to find the most common household tools . But it, you won't regret it.

These are working well for us. It does help to have 2 people putting it together. One just to hold the vertical bars while you are assembling so they dont fall and get wonky. Moving it did present a problem, if you lifted it by the shelf and not the vertical bars, the shelves could pop out. Once it is in place, it is fine and strong.

Easy to put together but you probably need two people. I put this together myself and it was difficult to hold one side steady and then try to get the other side attached. When I was trying to add the last two shelves all it gives you is 4 connects are they are not secure at all. They just sit in the uprights and don’t actually attach. So I’m not putting anything heavy on the top two shelves.
