Very sturdy and stable. I was able to put it together, on my own, in less than an hour. I replaced 2 very weak and wobbly plastic shelving units that nearly collapsed from the weight and poor fit and design of the shelves. This one holds all of that and more without a problem.

Great product! Sturdy and stong enough to hold most residential storage items. Clean looking in shiny black color. It looks smaller in the box but once its set up, looks prerty big. Its fairly easy to assemble alone, but easier and fastest when you have additional hand. At most 30 minutes assembly time by 1 person

These are working well for us. It does help to have 2 people putting it together. One just to hold the vertical bars while you are assembling so they dont fall and get wonky. Moving it did present a problem, if you lifted it by the shelf and not the vertical bars, the shelves could pop out. Once it is in place, it is fine and strong.

Great shelves ! Easy to put together, and the wood is now black instead of light brown. Looks great with the grey metal. Very sharp looking. Deep, to hold plenty of material. I have purchased SEVERAL for my basement work atea, as well as the garage and shed. Fair price too !!

The shelving unit is very sturdy and well made, just wasn't expecting it to have plastic shelves, I looked at the one in the store and got the number off it before I ordered, but I don't remember it having plastic shelves, the frame is metal, but the shelf is plastic. I couldn't find a number on the boxes that they came in to see if it matched the one I ordered

We were very happy to find this quality of shelving at Sam's Club. Easy to put together and holds plenty of weight. I fastened the top of uprights to wall to prevent movement. Otherwise it could move a little . For home or office, this is very nice.

The shelf steel is fairly sting but the thin particle board sheets for the shelves are junk. If you are putting anything heavy on them they will not last. I would not buy again or recommend this for anything, garage, kitchen, storage or cubbard. Not sure what it's best suited for but I don't like it.

Satisfied with this purchase. Easy to put together. The shelves lock into place. The worst I can say is if you were sliding something off and on the shelf they would scratch the wood surface. I’m fine with that because they’re for storage purposes.

Good: It’s a good value and large shelving unit. Bad: it’s a pain to put together. Even using a rubber mallet there are multiple pieces that bent, would not go together or did not align. Trying to put the shelving pieces on these mangled brackets resulted in broken corners. The unit is still usable and compares to other companies with similar units. I just would plan on using two people and still finding yourself frustrated.

Have bought these in the past, but this shelving unit is a new design. Paint color doesn't match, metal is much thinner and more flimsy, the insert that holds the top and the bottom together is cheap plastic, and the keyhole slots are much harder to use. Even if you could get over the fact that the paint colors are different, the rails aren't interchangble between the previous versions either. Meaning my business now has to keep the parts seperated and remember what parts go to what shelves when we try to reconfigure our layout. I really wish a design could either be left alone OR clearly marked so that people don't think it's the same. I feel like Sam's club was deliberately trying to dupe customers with a cheaper product (cheaper for them, not for the customer unfortunately).
