This unit is made a lot cheaper than ones I got few years ago. I had trouble with several of the poles not going into slots correctly, had to hammer some of them bc they came bent!! I called the manufacturer to complain and they would not replace product! I hope I do not have to take apart to move it bc I bet it won’t go back together right! So dissatisfied.

Very sturdy and stable. I was able to put it together, on my own, in less than an hour. I replaced 2 very weak and wobbly plastic shelving units that nearly collapsed from the weight and poor fit and design of the shelves. This one holds all of that and more without a problem.

We previous bought 2 of these units and were happy enough with them that we bought 3 more for our shed. The are 4 feet wide and 2 feet deep...so plan accordingly. You can stack them as this picture shows , or you can not stack them which gives you an 8 foot workbench like thing. You have to be careful how you apply the mallet to push the rails into the verticals' slots. I find that using a long piece of flat stock thin enough to slide inside the verticals and hammer the flat stock to drive the rails into the slots is MUCH better Obviously once driven in fully you remove the flat stock. Also place the bottom shelf in as soon as possible, this helps with putting the other shelves. Careful with the shelves, don't hammer them in as they are a pressboard material and you will break off the corners (not a big deal if you do though....the sturdiness of the shelves is not dependant on the corners). When fully assembled these are very sturdy and hold a lot of weight.

I was looking for an inexpensive solution to my garage storage needs and this unit fit the bill very nicely. All I needed for tools was a rubber mallet to firmly lock the pieces together. I would have given it 5 stars but for the rather flimsy plastic connectors that hold the upper and lower parts together. It holds quite firm which is good, but you will want to move the unit, once assembled, by the bottom half of the unit. I'd be worried that if you pull or push from the upper half it might pull apart at the connectors. however if you aren't moving it once it is assembled and loaded, it should be more than adequate, especially for the price. It is a very good deal.. The metal parts are all heavier gauge than many other metal shelving units and those plastic ones on the market...I also like that the shelves lock down the same way many higher price units do it. Overall I would highly recommend this storage. One note... I used the 27 gallon plastic bins that you can buy at many of the big box hardware stores and membership warehouses, and found that I really only could use four of the five shelves. Not a complaint just an observation. I simply put the extra shelf and connecting metal pieces along the bottom shelf so that I could easily find everything it if I modified my shelving arrangements.

It's okay.... the structure is ok. The pieces you use to put in between each connecting frame unit are cheap and two broke on me. I am also not a fan of the material of the actual shelf. Does not feel like it can hold weight or last a long time... once you put something on the shield the surface of the shelf scratches..

Good heavy duty 5-shelf storage rack with great adjustability for customization. Ordered 3 for home delivery. Arrived undamaged and timely. 2 people can assemble a rack in about 20 min or so after the first-some learning curve. Instructions are ok. We replaced 2 large wire rack storage units that were to tall and the shelves were quite narrow. These are wide and more useful. Our garage is well organized now. Highly recommended.

Easy to assemble...need two people....the connection for top and bottom should be bigger or longer as it seems hard to keep the two together. Should be made out of same material as the side posts not plastic. It will work for what I want it for plus I bought a cover for it. Nice.

The corner vertical rails used to be joined together by a longer metal bracket. This has been replaced by a very short plastic bracket, that is not stable, nor does it stay in place. Hopefully the weight of the items on the shelves will keep the top half from falling off the bottom.

Package came damaged and open. Taped but open. Easily assembled metalwork. Good design. Did not notice until partially assembled but the shelf corners were crumpled due their composite nature. The unit went together quite easily and being in a shed was adequate.

Great, sturdy shelving unit and easy to put together and can easily customize the height of the shelves to meet your needs. I would expect to pay double what this unit is priced at, so it's also a fantastic buy. Magnetic tool holders do work on this unit so it's easy to find the most common household tools . But it, you won't regret it.
