[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The moment I opened the Gillette SkinGuard razor and removed it from the packaging I found myself quite impressed. Taking it in my hand it felt substantial without being over weight and quite comfortable to handle. Wanting to put this one to the test I gave it a try on a dry shave, no soap no shaving cream and no water. I will say it performed admirably providing a nice close shave without nicking, cutting or grabbing my skin or facial hair. On a repeat shave after 2 days of growth this razor again performed as well as the first time. Sleek and comfortable I find it to be quite agile to use for both a clean shave and for shaping around a beard. I think this one is a winner!

I wasn't impressed. The shave wasn't close and the excessive lubrication was incredibly slimy. I tried it for a week, hoping the shave would improve. It did not.

I shaved my face with it daily and the shave was close to the skin and made my skin feel very soft I also noticed that I had less razor bumps than usual. The trimmer part made it easy for me to shape my mustache. I would definitely recommend this razor.

I always get razor bumps on my neck Everytime I shave no matter what razor or shaving cream I use. I bought this not expecting it to help but i was wrong The smoothest shave I've ever had no tug no nothing I had to double check to make sure it got the hair it was so smooth. But with this razor my skin still feels smooth days after. And the razor in the edge was extremely helpful in getting the creases.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replacement of the blade in the razor is fast and effortless. The blade shaves close and smooth without irritation or pulling. The configuration allows the dual blades to slide smoothly across the face, lightly depressing the skin to expose more of each whisker for a closer and longer-lasting shave. This is now my go-to razor blade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fine product, but I did not notice a huge improvement in my shaving. The improvement is not noticeable. It shaved well and limited the razor burn but no more than a normal Gillette product.

I'm a 52 year old black male and have tried so many blades, trimmers, hair removal creams, etc... to get a decent shave without causing serious razor bumps. It's cleverly made with an extra piece between the blades that serve as cushions. He said " their the best razors I ever tried! Highly recommends them as African Americans are prone to hair bumps/ ingrown hairs!

I saw a review of this razor and wanted to give it a try. I’ve had adult acne for years (I’m 31) related to dry skin/ sensitivity to razors. My worst experience was a 5 blade razor. This razor has been a game changer! My face looks better than ever. It has a moisturizing bar on both sides of the razor and they are separated, so the shave is still close. I even up-shave with it, and have no problems. This is a very high quality razor- my razor for life- I’ll never buy another.
