[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Along with Gilette's SkinGaurd handle, this is an effective razor for quick regular use. It's clearly better than their standard razor, and there's not an overwhelming number of blades; personally the newer 6+ blade units are overkill.

At first glance it looks like something out of a NASA development lab...2 blades offset by perforated rubber strips. I have struggled with shaving issues related to sensitive skin for over 20 years and I can honestly say, this is the best razor I have used! After a week of daily use, I have had no razor burn, no ingrown hairs, no nicks or cuts. The shave is incredibly comfortable and it doesn't even feel like a traditional shave. I have never heard of this product prior to this program, yet I would definitely make it my daily razor system if it hits my market! I cannot recommend this enough...sensitive skin or not!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's great for occasional shaving, but it wears relatively quickly for every day use. I didn't notice a ton of difference from regular Gillette razors, but it's a quality product that gets the job done. I would buy this product again.

I've been using this for a month now. From the very first stroke I've been shocked at how smooth it is. It rinses easily and cleanly/painlessly shaves every area of my face, cheeks, neck and sideburns. I'm left stubble free with clean lines and no razor burn, bumps, or nicks or cuts. I highly recommend it and often tell my friends and family about it.

I'm pretty picky when it comes to shaving my face and I have an impossibly high standard. So when I say this razor is like many of the others that I've tried, that isn't necessarily the slight it may seem. I would call the razor "good," high quality, and one of the better ones I've used. For that reason, I personally would not purchase the razor handle or blade, but I would actually recommend it to others. I was not aware of this specific product prior to participating in the try-it program but am well aware of the Gillette brand in general and their general line of products.

I lather with lots of warm water & shaving gel, and gently glide the razor across my skin, yet this still happens AND the razor doesn’t even get all the hair off. Unless there’s something wrong with my process, not sure this razor is right for my sensitive skin. It gets a lot of the hair off, but not all of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette SkinGuard Razor works great for a nice smooth shave. I saw a decrease in razor bumps so it does really help with sensitive skin. It was a close shave without as much irritation. The only bad part I found was the blades didn't stay sharp near as long as other Gillette products but they also aren't as expensive so it balances out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice razor. It feels good in your hand and has nice, well-placed rubber grips that prevent the razor from slipping when wet. There are only two blades yet it was a good shave. With only two blades it was not the closest shave I have had but the razor does live up to the "sensitive skin" label. There is a thin rubber guard between that blades that does a nice job reducing skin irritation. I definitely had less irritation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a regular user of Gillette razors I was excited to try a new razor. I'd hoped the new SkinGuard would provide a close yet comfortable shave. I wasn't impressed. The shave wasn't close and the excessive lubrication was incredibly slimy. I tried it for a week, hoping the shave would improve. It did not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the Gillette SkinGuard, I find it to be similar to my go to razor Mach III. I have used one blade consistently- everyday, for over 2 weeks and it still gives me a close shave, against the grain of my beard. I haven't suffered any razor bumps whatsoever and am ready to switch once my Mach III blades run out. Highly recommend!
