Im very happy with the Skinguard blades (what took them so long to invent this?) but the handle is the pits! It isn't comfortable and it wants to twist in my hand if it gets wet. Finally I got so fed up with this poorly designed thing that I twisted 3 fat rubber bands around the handle so that I could get a better grip! Why didn't Gillette think of this? The handle needs to have a fat rubber grip on it for better handling!

Additionally, i have somewhat sensitive skin and usually either get irritated patches from shaving or ingrown hairs the day. I purposely waited 3 to 4 days between each sahve and not once did I have razor bur,n red patches, bumps or ingrown hairs after each use. I really like this razor and give it a huge thumbs up!

I had no skin irritation, got a very close shave and NO CUTS! I was very pleased with this razor. Also i did not use any shave cream! It has a very nice comfortable handle. The trimmer on the back works very well. It has a nice smooth flexible shave.

I also feel more convicted in using Gillette given their recent ads promoting positive masculinity. I would buy this product again.

After that the blade did not really give me as close a shave as I like. The blade does not seem to last as long as other blades I've tried.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Skinguard Razor is one of the best razor I've used so far in the Gillette line. The Skinguard feature is designed to protect the skin and has reduced the skin irritation I normally get when shaving. I have sensitive skin and get alot of red bumps or blotches on the irritated skin areas. There was no tugging or pulling of hair while shaving which was nice. It cut really close to the skin, and the back precision trimmer worked great on my beard and mustache. The razor is easy to use, has a comfort grip & reduces pressure on the hand & wrist while shaving. Left my skin feeling soft, smooth, and zero razor burn. My wife also used on her legs and loved the soft close shave. Definitely recommend trying the new Gillette Skinguard if you have sensitive skin or prone to skin irritation. And you don't even feel like your shaving. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lubrication stripes feel nice when I shave, but I would prefer just 1 stripe and a more narrow design so I can get edge areas better. Edge areas like near my nostrils, the bottom of my neck and the edge of my sideburns are easier to shave closely with a more narrow blade design. The blades themselves are nice and give a close shave. My only issue is the size of the head.
