This is a common problem I have with both refillable and disposable razors. The blades passed over my skin smoothly and the additional built in head was a nice follow up to the razor. I experienced no nicks, cuts or razor burn.

I very much like the skin guard as it does help keep the irritation down and the skin smooth. The shave is soft and smooth but if you have course hair it takes a few passes to finish and if there were a few more blades it would be close to perfect.

Bought this few days ago, it was waste of money. Doesn't even do the job. I don't have thick beard, tried one blade then second. Literally had to scratch my skin of to even shave my beard. Big big no. Wish I hadn't wasted my 35 buck on gillette. Not goin to buy again.

The handle felt nice in my hand and the rubber provided me with a good grip in the shower while shaving. I liked that the razor head had double the lubrication strips and was larger than most razor heads to cover more surface area. I would definitely recommend this razor for people that experience sensitivity when shaving like myself and I will definitely be buying more replacement heads in the future.

I was pleased with how smooth, and closely shaved my face felt, after using them. I would definitely consider purchasing these in the future

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Gillette SkinGuard razor blades! I have sensitive skin and most razors leave me cut up and rashy. This one actually did what it was supposed to do! No cuts, no irritated skin! It might not give as close a shave as others right off the bat, but after a second swipe of an area, it does the trick - a small trade off for not having my neck feel like it's on fire! I definitely would continue using this razor in place of my old Gillette PowerGlide. Definitely an upgrade!

I had no skin irritation, got a very close shave and NO CUTS! I was very pleased with this razor. Also i did not use any shave cream! It has a very nice comfortable handle. The trimmer on the back works very well. It has a nice smooth flexible shave.
