[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SkinGuard razor is made for sensitive skin, which I thought I had until I used this. I think my beard is too thick for this razor because I had a hard time with it. It has lubrication before and after the blades. It definitely did not irritate my skin, but it seemed harder for me to get a close shave. Which I think is due to how thick my beard is. I received this item for free in exchange for my honest review.

I used the razor during my morning routine of shaving while getting ready in the bathroom. I like the look and feel of the razor very much and will definitely buy refill blade cartridges to continue using it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally use an electric shaver but wanted to try a razor again because my shaver was not getting the close shave that I wanted. When I first used the Gillette SkinGuard Razor I was amazed at how comfortable it was to hold and what a smooth , close shave I got. Then my wife used it for her legs and Ioved it! I used it for my face again and thought it would not give me the same shave as the first time however, I am still using it and each shave is the same as the first even with my wife using it again. We each have used it for about two weeks and it's still giving a smooth, close shave with no cuts or burning.

However, I did nick my skin multiple times using this product on different occasions. I shave my face daily due to being in the military so I wasn't very happy. I do use Gillette razors daily but not the "SkinGuard" type. I wasn't aware of them before participating in this program. I would recommend Gillette razors but not the Skin guard razor itself.

I have used these for years for head and face shaving. Better results than all the razors I have tried, including double edge. No nicks, irritation, bumps, or ingrown hairs. One cartridge lasts me a month with shaving at least three times a week. Wish Sam's would stock these in store.
