[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pretty impressed with this blade. I wasn't sure how close it could get given the guard in place. I was pleasantly surprised. The dual lubrication strips are nice, my skin felt very smooth after shaving, but no razor bumps! In fact I have used this razor for 2 weeks (almost every day) and no razor bumps yet! I suppose one "con" would be that the lubrication strips are wearing out faster than the razor itself. I suspect I will change the blade in 1-2 more weeks. So far though no "pulling" on the hairs. I would even say I have been able to use a bit less shaving cream at this point. The blades also rinse out nicely. I am a fan.

I'm 59 and have been shaving exclusively with Gillete metal blade razors for over 43 years. Starting with the single blade adjustable safety razor. I have sensitive and dry skin. I've tried every version of Gillete every sold. Mach 3, ProGlide, Fusion 5, etc. Just bought the new Gillete SkinGuard razors about two months ago. Hands down it's the best Gillete product ever. Close shave and zero irritation. Not only that, but my wife and daughter tried them too and they now use them exclusively as well for their legs, arm pits and even their most sensitive areas. So I've bought 3 handles and many refill packs since. Way to go Gillete, best razor ever.

Don't get me wrong, I've used Gillette blades over the years, but non have preformed as smoothly as this one: it caused me no irritation or burning whatsoever , which was awesome!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The handle is thin compared to the other Gillette razors I have used so while shaving it had the tendency to slip out of my hands a bit. When I went to detail the edge of my beard this became a bothersome. Maybe a better grip on the handle will help. Overall it was usable and more robust than other brands. The razor itself did help with skin irritation but only having two blades I had to go over areas many more times which in turn still caused some irritation. Having thick curly hair this can be a problem. I was very surprised it worked as well as it did for only two blades though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Received this product about a week ago I have never used this razor before now I might be buying more Gillette razors because it was the best razor I have ever used I didn't get any bumps after using it my skin is so sensitive and it was perfect I would definitely recommend this razor no stubbles left behind it was perfect and left feeling smooth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette SkinGuard Razor is very attractive. It seems to do a good job. I did not lotion it seemed to be gooey on my face. It is as good or better then my throw aways I have been using. One thing I can complain about it is the bottom skin guard came off as I was shaving. I would rate this as an ok shaver blade. I probably would not buy the Gillette SkinGuard Razor Handle & Blade Refill. Prior to receiving the Gillette SkinGuard Razor Handle & Blade Refill test and review I had not seen it. I would not recommend the Gillette SkinGuard Razor Handle & Blade Refill to others.

I have very sensitive skin and am prone to rashes and irritation. The handle is comfortable to grip and the blades glide gently across my skin. There was no burning sensation afterward and the shave was close. Definitely found my new razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the blade and the storage. These blades do cut down on the razor bumps I get when I have to shave. The storage fits perfectly and it is simple enough to pop a new blade on once I am done using it.

Then I tried this one out and I have to say that I'm really tempted to just pay the money and move back. Shaving is a pain but not with this. So far, my first 3 shaves have my face super smooth. I shave against the grain typically. These are great blades on their own. They work well and are comfortable leaving no razor burn whatsoever. I would highly recommend this if you are looking for a Smooth,effortless shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being bald, I go through a lot of razors. The Gillette SkinGuard Razor did a good job without leaving the traditional razor bumps. Sandwiched between the two blades is a new SkinGuard. There is also a precision trimmer on the back of the razor. I felt the handle was a little light and easy to drop. Since the blades will fit the Fusion handle, I'm going to try buying these blades and use my Fusion handle.
