I was surprised to see a razor from Gillette with 2 blades and was skeptical about how efficient it is. It has SkinGaurd that is positioned between the 2 blades to prevent skin irritations, and skin burns. I am used to shave using 3 to 5 blades razors so using a 2 blades razor was a bit off for me. After receiving a free sample and trying the new Gillette SkinGuard Razor, I got smooth shave with no irritation, burns or cuts. Today is my fourth day using this razor and the blades still in good shape and give close smooth shave. The lubricated SkinGuard is helping keeping my skin protected and shield my skin from irritation. I think I would buy this razor and refills to use more often and recommend to those with sensitive skin. Got this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical but this razor really does work. Less irritation than with my DE razors and closer shave with less time and effort. Used it with Cremo so can't comment on how it would work with a regular shaving cream like Barbasol. Also wonder how it would work if you let your bread grow for more than a couple of days. When I splashed some aftershave on after shaving no burning face!

I have sensitive skin, and it didn't leave any bumps or irritation like some of the cheaper razors tend to do. I got a close and smooth shave which was just what I was going for. Great razor for your shaving needs!

They are to expensive, And I still broke out not the best quality of blade which I had to go over the area a few time. Seem like the guard that's plastic. Dont let the blade cut good. Gillette's product are usually good. But this one is a no for me. Would not recommend

Never thought I'd shave without my neck bleeding and getting super red for a day. Got used to it as I always had a problem (now 40). Saw the commercial and said, what the heck, I'll spend $ if it actually works. It worked. Putting good razors into the budget.

I have a beard and typically shave my neck 2-3 times per week where my neck typically is susceptible to razor burn. This is not ideal as it shows significantly when I leave the house. I can truly share that this razor 100% protects against razor burn as described. Would be great if they would offer a three blade.

I haven't had any issues with razor burn or irritation at all. I will definitely be using this for as long as I can purchase it.

Just spent the better part of reading week HACKING through my goochfro. I heard that a strand of hair is supposed to be as strong as a piece of steel of the same girth. If that’s the case, my razor must be made from absolute SHARP because theres no way a steel blade would glide through cubic acres of cheek hair as seamlessly as it did. Like a hot knife through liquid ice cubes. Never been a more satisfied customer. #gillette
