[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I generally shave twice a week , so when I shave I have a bit of a stubble. I sometimes have razor burns and the existing Gillette blades that I use gives me a clean shave but also sometimes tugs at the hair. Using this razor instead, I experienced a noticeable difference. Though it took a couple more strokes than my existing razor due to lesser number of blades, it also gave a smoother and more comfortable shave. The 2 blades are separated by a plastic peg which is smooth against the skin and avoids pulling and tugging of hair. There is also an additional lubricating strip at the bottom making it glide on skin. The precision blade at the back is handy as well. The handle is great as well and provides ample grip even when wet. The good part is the blade and handle, both are cross compatible with my Gillette Fusion razor and blade, sans the pivoting head. Its a good change up razor for when you want a comfortable shave rather than a quick close shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised with this one! At first I was skeptical with the 2 blades but let me tell you, this thing is awesome! I had no skin irritation, got a very close shave and NO CUTS! I was very pleased with this razor. Also i did not use any shave cream! It has a very nice comfortable handle. The trimmer on the back works very well. It has a nice smooth flexible shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Razor itself was sturdy, easy to hold/grip. Not impressed by the blade it came with though. Didn't shave close enough to my skin. After shaving, my face felt rough like sand paper. I'm in the military, and would not buy this blade again. Will consider buying a different refill blade next time

I would not buy the Gillette SkinGuard Razor Handle & Blade Refill myself. The lotion was gooey and the bottom SkinGuard came off. I was not aware of the Gillette SkinGuard Razor Handle & Blade Refill before participating in this program so thank you for letting me try it but I will pass on purchasing them. I would not recommend the Gillette SkinGuard Razor Handle & Blade Refill to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like how the blade snaps into the handle so simply. I've had issues in the past where the connector breaks at that point after tapping out my whiskers and hair to deckog the razor. One thing though, is that isn't really necessary here. The razor has space so I can easily rince away the hair and continue on shaving. That is my favorite part about the razor. Especially since I shave my whole head and I have to rinse and deckog other razors often. I can shave longer without having to rinse it due to the space. I also like the slick part that makes it easier to shave.

The razor worked very well for the first several days. Never had a nick or a cut like I do with other Gillette products. The shave was similarly close to other Gillette products. Skin guard sharpness lasted half as long as the others I have used. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Gillette, for those of us men that do have sensitive skin, we finally have a razor blade that's designed to give us the close shave we desire all while protecting our skin from the sensitivities of pulling & tugging that tend to leave behind mostly irritation! This razor blade is simply amazing and yet, there's very little simplicity behind the design of this razor and the blades themselves. With its' built-in skinguard in between the blades, you truly can get an excellent shave with no redness, bumps, etc. during and afterwards! In addition to that, Gillette went a step further in providing lubrication, as well, to provide a protective like barrier over your skin while shaving to give you that smooth shave. If you suffer from skin sensitivities from shaving, Gillette has certainly come up with the solution and you definitely don't want to miss out on their new Gillette Skinguard and refill blades! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette SkinGuard Razor Handle had a nice quality feel to it. The weight gave it good balance while using so it slipped less and it was comfortable to hold. I liked it better than most other razor handles I have used.

Typically when I shave, I get a reddish rash which I believe is due to something in the gliding strip on razors. When I used this razor - no rash! Amazing! Also it provided a great shave. I will purchase more!
