[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the Gillette Skinguard to shave through some fairly tough stubble, I have to say I like the product overall. It delivers a smooth shaving experience. The dual spaced blades are nice and are able to cut evenly without razors bumps and irritation. I haven't tried to shave through a thicker beard with it, however for my shaving routine it works quite well. I would recommend as a buy.

Tried to see if I could get a skin cut but the razor is designed in such a way that it is difficult to even scratch your skin. This SkinGaurd Blade worked flawlessly around my goatee with little effort and didn't leave my skin marked up from being sensitive. I was pleased it worked as advertised with no razor burn. I also didn't have to press real hard like i did with the "shave club" razors. The blade stayed sharp for a long time. This is a keeper :)

With its' built-in skinguard in between the blades, you truly can get an excellent shave with no redness, bumps, etc. during and afterwards! In addition to that, Gillette went a step further in providing lubrication, as well, to provide a protective like barrier over your skin while shaving to give you that smooth shave. If you suffer from skin sensitivities from shaving, Gillette has certainly come up with the solution and you definitely don't want to miss out on their new Gillette Skinguard and refill blades! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this new blade. I work outside all day and in the winter, my skin gets very wind burnt and sensitive. This blade causes no additional irritation and still gives a close shave. No tugging or pulling during the shave. The skin guard works well. I was not aware of this new blade as I use a subscription service (quality has gone downhill for about a year). I will be putting the Gillette Skinguard Razor on the shopping list.

I've only used it a few times since my facial hair doesnt grow super fast so I dont know how many times you can use it before it becomes dull, but I'm assuming it will last just as long as Gillettes other blades. For people with sensitive skin I say go for it.

I have some what sensitive skin and this razor worked great for me. I plan on purchasing the refills to go with it.

Im very happy with the Skinguard blades (what took them so long to invent this?) but the handle is the pits! It isn't comfortable and it wants to twist in my hand if it gets wet. Finally I got so fed up with this poorly designed thing that I twisted 3 fat rubber bands around the handle so that I could get a better grip! Why didn't Gillette think of this? The handle needs to have a fat rubber grip on it for better handling!
