I am so sorry you didn't get the smooth Gillette shave you have come to expect. The Skinguard razor is specially designed to be used by customers who suffer from ingrown hairs or sensitive skin. Unlike our other products this is not designed to cut at the skins surface. The safeguard is designed to depress the skin to allow the blades to cut slight above the skins surface. This allow the hairs to not catch on the pore and cause ingrown hairs, as well as keeping minimal contact with the skin to avoid razor burn.
