The Skinguard is a specialized blade made specifically for customers who have traditionally suffered issues when shaving. These issues include razor burn, skin sensitivity, and ingrown hairs. The Skinguard has a unique design that allows the blades to glide on the crest of a ridge created by the Skinguard bar. Because of the nature of the design, it will not perform the same as a multiblade razor such as the Fusion but will limit or eliminate shaving irritation. Unlike our other products this is not designed to cut at the skins surface. The safeguard is designed to depress the skin to allow the blades to cut slight above the skins surface. This allow the hairs to not catch on the pore and cause ingrown hairs, as well as keeping minimal contact with the skin to avoid razor burn.
