[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical but this razor really does work. Less irritation than with my DE razors and closer shave with less time and effort. Used it with Cremo so can't comment on how it would work with a regular shaving cream like Barbasol. Also wonder how it would work if you let your bread grow for more than a couple of days. When I splashed some aftershave on after shaving no burning face!

I was surprised to see a razor from Gillette with 2 blades and was skeptical about how efficient it is. It has SkinGaurd that is positioned between the 2 blades to prevent skin irritations, and skin burns. I am used to shave using 3 to 5 blades razors so using a 2 blades razor was a bit off for me. After receiving a free sample and trying the new Gillette SkinGuard Razor, I got smooth shave with no irritation, burns or cuts. Today is my fourth day using this razor and the blades still in good shape and give close smooth shave. The lubricated SkinGuard is helping keeping my skin protected and shield my skin from irritation. I think I would buy this razor and refills to use more often and recommend to those with sensitive skin. Got this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I shave my face and head, this SkinGuard, is the best of the best I have tried so far. The glide is great, you feel no tug or drag with this razor and I have been a user of Gillette Fusion since they have come out. I like the extra protection around the blades with this model. I would highly recommend this razor for all your shaving needs. The blades are also interchangeable with the Fusion Battery handles.

Like many others I take blood thinners due to previous heart issues. Consequently if I nick myself shaving I bleed profusely, often for over 24 hours. I have been shaving with blades for many years and cut myself seldom. However, this blade enables me to relax and get a close shave and I do not have to worry about cuts and nicks.

I switched over from Harry’s, and I wish I had done this sooner! This blade and razor handle are the best! I usually do a 3 pass shave, but today I just did a one pass shave. And the results were great! It felt like I had done 2 passes when I was done. If you know how to properly shave, this product will work wonders. Well done Gillette. Truly, the best a man can get.

I have always been a fan of Gillette quality and the handle is what you come to expect from the years of expertise! Well balanced and weighted with a swivel head design easy to use and clean.. Looks like advanced tech without the batteries or cords:)

When I recieved Gillette SkinGuard Razor Handle & Blade Refill,free from viewpoint sampling for my personal opinion /review, I was already a user and fan of Gillette .

When I was little, my younger brother and I used to take the blade out of my dad's snazzy multi-mangle safety razor. We'd lather up with foam first and then scoop it up and off like snow. That's what this razor feels like. I had to check the razor to be sure it didn't have a cap on it and then I felt my skin to see if there were still whiskers. No to both. And no razor burn or ingrown hairs either. Who'd imagine that two blades are better than five? The only thing about this razor that I don't like is that I'll have to do this again tomorrow. C'est la vie!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The handle is comfortable and functional in my hand. It's big enough for large hands to grasp and use easily. I like its heavier weight and solidness as I use it. Overall, I think this handle is well designed and lends itself to use very easily!
