I have been shaving since the age of 14. I discovered SkinGuard over one year ago. That means that for 62 years I was constantly irritated on my face, cut, bled and you name it! I use old fashioned shaving soap and a brush and now, at last, the final factor in handling a tough beard.

And wow, this is the smoothest shave I have ever experienced. The only way I can describe it is like running a warm knife through butter. I will definitely purchase this item again and again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette SkinGaurd Razor is well named. I have used this razor for 2 weeks and have not had one cut. I have sensitive skin and shaving frequently leaves my face feeling damaged or burning. This is the first razor I've experienced that up, down, side to side strokes don't hurt. My face gets a clean smooth shave without worry. For years I have been buying and shaving with giant head 5 blade razors. This 2 blade headed razor gets the job done. I am only holding back the 5th star (4 star rating), because the 5 blade heads give me a slightly closer shave faster. That being said, I prefer The Gillette SkinGuard Razor overall due to the comfort and gentleness. The razor burn I used to feel from my old razors is just a memory now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice razor. It feels good in your hand and has nice, well-placed rubber grips that prevent the razor from slipping when wet. There are only two blades yet it was a good shave. With only two blades it was not the closest shave I have had but the razor does live up to the "sensitive skin" label. There is a thin rubber guard between that blades that does a nice job reducing skin irritation. I definitely had less irritation.
