[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decent razor handle, good weight and nice hand feel. The reason for 3 stars is the lack of grippy surface on the handle. I shave in the shower and the combination of the shave cream and water make the razor very difficult to hold on too.

I've tried other company's razors, but always come back to the company with razors that cause me the least skin trouble, plus has refill blades I can use for multiple shaves. This is a GREAT blade. My skin feels nice and smooth, with minimal razor burn or nicks, even after a couple of shaves with the same blade. I don't like how much plastic the packing includes, and I wish the company could find a more eco-friendly way to protect the refill blades; I actually might change my blades more often if it meant less plastic waste.

My skin felt great after shaving and I did not experience any razor burn or ingrown facial hair. I would purchase these blades in the future and would likely recommend them to others.

I couldn't believe how lightweight it was, how easy it was to use and what a close shave I got without even one cut on my face! The blades slide easily along your face without getting and nicks or cuts. I was able to shave with it very quickly as well. It was also very durable and held up well with no problems at all. I usually like to use a battery operated handle but after using this a few times it may have just won me over!! I would definitely recommend this razor for purchase I think, you will be very pleased with it as I don't have anything negative to say at all

No pulling or tugging at coarse hairs. The technology is unique but until I used it on my 3 day stubble I didn't know how good it was. Smooth, clean, and it just looks nice. The razor blade feels premium and causes no irritation on my skin. So happy with this new line of SkinGuard. Don't need to have a million blades on one razor head, they just reinvented the science behind it and it works tremendously.

While I would rather grow my beard, this new Gillette ShinGuard razor and refillable blade makes shaving a little easier. I like the feel of the razor in my hand and refilling the blades is quick and easy. This saves me money in the long run.

I didn't want to like this blade since it seemed expensive for 2 blades (plus a trimmer,) but the more I used it, the more I appreciated it. I do have sensitive skin and am prone to ingrown hairs, so I was a bit skeptical. I have much fewer nicks (usually none) with this blade than any other, and I've tried them all.

I even used the battery-operated handle for a while, but found it wasn't necessary for a good shave (for me); this blade doesn't have batteries, which was fine with me. All Gillette handles, including this one, are sturdy but light. This handle lives up to Gillette's high standards, and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a good shave and who can afford the refill blades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Take it from someone with sentive skin who shaves regularly and gets tired of razor bumps; this is an amazing razor! It only has 2 blades that are perfectly spaced and skin guards that keeps the razor from getting deep on the skin. My face cleared up the first time that it was used. All bumps were gone by the second shave with this razor. If you are having razor bump problems, definitely give this razor a try.
