I think that I didn't have any nicks or cuts and it was a close and smooth shave. Overall I am very happy with this razor and will consider buying it in the future and recommend to any friends looking for a new razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have sensitive facial skin and shave everyday. I always look for razors that won't cause irritations or burns. I was surprised to see a razor from Gillette with 2 blades and was skeptical about how efficient it is. It has SkinGaurd that is positioned between the 2 blades to prevent skin irritations, and skin burns. I am used to shave using 3 to 5 blades razors so using a 2 blades razor was a bit off for me. After receiving a free sample and trying the new Gillette SkinGuard Razor, I got smooth shave with no irritation, burns or cuts. Today is my fourth day using this razor and the blades still in good shape and give close smooth shave. The lubricated SkinGuard is helping keeping my skin protected and shield my skin from irritation. I think I would buy this razor and refills to use more often and recommend to those with sensitive skin. Got this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a regular user of Gillette razors I was excited to try a new razor. I'd hoped the new SkinGuard would provide a close yet comfortable shave. I wasn't impressed. The shave wasn't close and the excessive lubrication was incredibly slimy. I tried it for a week, hoping the shave would improve. It did not.

It also shaves as closely as I need it to, although those with more blades do shave a bit closer (this only has two blades) Overall, it worked very well and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

I tried this and when I opened it was surprised to see the design only had two blades but it had high reviews so I tried anyways. I wound up with several nicks (I’ve been shaving for 30+ years and haven’t had a nick since teen days of disposable razors). It was absolutely not a close shave and very uncomfortable shave. I will never use these blades again!

With my normal razor, it always end up with 1-2 nicks, razor burns and or spots that I need to shave again. With the Gillette SkinGuard Razor, I was able to shave without the painful burns and nicks. Even more amazed on how close the shave was.
